    Default Round 2 :(

So last night at about 12:30am I woke up to more bright red blood. I went back to the ER and they said its still the bleed thats causing it. GRRRRRRR!! The baby was fine and measured good and I could still see its little heart flickering away! Im just frustrated at this point. Anyone else have this in their pregnancies? How long did it last for you? I want to start enjoying my pregnancy and planning for this baby, but Im pretty scared to let myself enjoy my pregnancy at this point.

AWW!! Scary!! At least you got to see it and the HB, and at least you know where teh bleeding is coming from!!
Just think how low your M/C rates drop after seeing the HB (I need to remind myself that too)
I don't have any advice because I'm still constantly worried/cant enjoy it/dont even want to plan because I'm afraid I'll jinx it!

Just think, maybe a few more weeks and we'll feel better! I think once I hit 12 weeks I'll finally feel better, or maybe when my doppler pics up the heartbeat

That constant worry is so exhausting isn't it? And there's just not much you can do to stop worrying. I hate it when people tell you to stop because you can't. I know I can't anyway. I've had a lot of cramping but it's from the CL cyst on my ovary and the doc said it wasn't anything to worry about really but it's huge and it could cause me a lot of discomfort and pain. So every time I cramp harder than normal I have to tell myself it's just the cyst. I still worry though. How can you not when it's your baby? But like Cait said it is nice to know that your chance of m/c is way down after seeing the hb so that's good! I've heard of a lot of people have the bleed like that. Seems like it can come and go throughout the first trimester and stresses them out too because seeing blood like that is so scary. Also seems though like it usually turns out just fine so I think you'll be okay. Good luck sweetie and I hope you feel better soon and that the rest of the first trimester flies by for you! HUGS!

I had a friend who bled for over a week with her 2nd. She was checked over and over and the baby was born healthy. Scary though! I think some times there can be bleeds in and around the uterus that aren't related to the baby. Hang in there and "try!" to relax!

It's impossible not to worry. I do know a couple of women who had bleeds and everything was fine. It's scary though. Praying it resolves itself quickly so you can breathe easier!

I havent had this happen to me personally, but my cousins wife was just on bedrest for 6 weeks a hemerage around her placenta (I believe thats what she said it was). She had to go in every couple days to get an ultrasound to check the baby. The dr. told her that in a lot of cases the blood pools, forms a clot, and then causes problems for the baby. That it was actually good that she was seeing it come out, though still scary. The thing about being a mom, whether its your first, 2nd, or 10th child, from the moment you find out you're pregnant, you always worry about them. Hang in there, sending thoughts and prayers your way.

I had this happen to me with DD. I bled for about 5 days. I for sure thought it was the end. I was 9 weeks along. My first m/c was at 9 wks so that gave me reason to believe. Went into the ER and there was her hb. I actually went in twice that week so it could have been bleeding longer than 5 days. My doc was so awesome, he was old school, and all of his pt;s love him. He asked me to go over my day when all of this started ( I t started during the night or late at night) And I recalled everything to him and then I said I lifted my sleeping 3 year old son up and upstairs to his room. He said no more lifting anything. Or heavier than 10 lbs. That was probably what did it. So I didn't lift anything anymore and no more probs. And my DD is 6 years old now. And was born healthy! She was early but healthy.

That's got to be really scary! I've been experiencing some random/sporradic spotting too, and it is really disheartening I hope everything clears up so you can get some peace of mind...
