Severe pressure in my pelvis

I don't remember having this much pressure/pain in my pelvis with DD. I know that everything is getting stretched out but it's the pressure isn't on the front or sides of my pelvis, it feels like this baby is trying to come out. It's awful, it hurts so much. It feels like I'm all brusied and it's swollen down there.

I found the pressure got worse earlier each time. With Ellie, by the end, I was SO uncomfortable. We're over halfway done now! Smile

some days i feel pressure in my pelvic area and other days , TMI, in my butt -like-inner butt... i was wondering if that was normal!

yea i feel like once the summer is over it's going to go quick, well mainly because i LOVE the Fall and it always seems to go by the quickest.

I know one of the ladies on the Birthing Naturally board had really bad swelling of her vagina and all those fun bits. She said it was super painful but it did go down and all her to get the birth that she wanted though.
I'm having pressure on the sides because Little Miss has decided to be traverse the past couple of days.

Like a PP said, mine has gotten worse, earlier, with each pregnancy. All of my kids have been mostly head down for the majority of my pregnancies. When mine gets really bad I try to lay down for a while... it helps. Also, sometimes mine gets worse when I have to pee. Hang in there, we dont have all that much longer Wink

I had the same issue and brought it up to my OB, he said it's normal to feel pressure sooner in secondary and subsequent pregnancies because the baby actually has the room to fit down there since the uterus has been stretched once already. I know when we had our US the other day Baby Boy 2.0 was literally dancing on my cervix with his feet.... not comfy at all!

Yeah it feels so much better when I lay down. I actually asked my SO to take a look and see if he could tell if it was swollen and he said it looked like it was really bad.

I hate that for you! I know the girl on BN said it was awful. You can put ice packs down there to see if that'll help!

I was thinking of doing that. I know putting counter pressure and massaging helps with the pain so I think I will try an ice pack today.

I wonder if it's fluid retention? If the ice packs don't work try putting some heat on it.
