    Default Sleep...

oh how I miss you! Please come visit me again very soon! I cant seem to get anywhere near a full nights sleep anymore and its making me soooo tired all the time! I take a 2-3 hr nap with my daughter ever day and I still feel tired all day! I toss and turn all night because my hips get so sore and my arms go numb! I have tried the body pillow and pillow between the knees and nothing is helping! Anyone going through the same thing or have any ideas what might be able to help me??

Already an issue here too, and I know it's just going to get worse! I always end up on the couch by the end, propped up with a variety of pillows. With Ellie I had terrible restless leg syndrome and would sleep with a heating pad between my lower legs. Misery!

I'm sleeping fine at night, but I just have NO energy at all during the day. I lay down for a nap today at 11am. And I'm ready for another one now, at 2. I just can't get enough sleep, no matter how many hours I get at night.

I'm not AS tired as I was first trimester, but feeling normal, no way. My dreams are constantly waking me up and between being constantly thirsty and having to pee, sleep is a near impossibility.

Yes! It was terrible! Don't take benadryl or tylenol PM. I tried that thinking it would help me sleep, but apparently it makes it worse! They say stretching before bed can help. I didn't notice a difference. But the heating pad did help some. It seems like when my muscles were warm they would settle down.

If it makes you feel any better I was lucky to get 3 hours of sleep TOTAL in a 24 hour span during the 3rd trimester with DS. When he was born I got so much more sleep. Granted it wasn't solid sleep, but just getting 6 hours total in 24 hours was a miracle and had me feeling so much better. Always annoys me when people say that you get worse sleep after the baby comes. It totally wasn't the case for me at all!
