Transverse or BH?

So uncomfortable right now.... All sorts of pain and pressure in my abdomen . I can't figure out if he's laying transverse or if I'm actually having pretty constant BH contractions. I'm so glad my appoinment is tomorrow and I can ask her cause This is gonna be a long 18 more weeks if this pain keeps up.

BH shouldn't be painful. Just a tightening. I get odd pains - especially on the sides - when this LO is transverse. Glad you have an OB appt tomorrow so you can find out for sure and hopefully put your mind to ease. Smile

I think transverse. I told my friend who called her mom, a former labor nurse who advised me to eat something sugary so I did and he moved enough to be comfortable.

Yea BH are def more of just an uncomfy feeling at this point. Sometimes when baby lays funny it can cause some painful pulling and pressure on areas we arent used to feeling it in! Glad you got some releif!!

I have found my BH's can be rather uncomfortable, even painful. But, if they dont have a pattern, then I would say its probably the baby's position... though, I also know that the baby's position can cause more Bh's. I'm glad that you were able to find a way to get relief, even for just a little bit. Another way to get the baby to move is seeing a chiropractor... if your out of alignment in any way it can cause the baby to lay in strange positions... or, just help to get them into a better, more comfortable position Smile

I was just in to see the chiro yesterday, definitely feeling better. But I have been having tons of different pain/ uncomfortableness in my belly this time and found out at my last appr baby is in a bad breech position (tranverse? don't know, will have to look that up) and way down low. Doctor said that is surely causing some of it. My hope is baby will get to big to lay how he/she is laying now and will move!. I know the baby moved once the other day based on where the kicks went and then the kicks went right back toward my cervix and bladder.

Hope the baby moves and you start feeling better.

Ugh. Yes, this kid is definitely breech again! I think I'm going to start on spinning babies inversions this afternoon because this girl is way more uncomfortable on me breech than my DS was on me when breech. These babies have tons of time to move, but it doesn't mean it's very nice on us. Wink
