Thread: Trip to UC this morning

Between that and having pain in my back and cramping that would come and go, and just feeling that something was wrong this morning, I was freaked out. I went in. They took some urine to see if I had a UTI, and just asked some questions. The nurse the doc sent in to get heart tones had a hard time getting a heart beat... we did hear the baby hit/kick at the probe, but that was it. Then, the Doc (not my OB, just a random ER doc) came back in and I was ready to cry with how much it hurt when she did it... needless to say, I do NOT want to see her again. She just seemed so annoyed by me being there. But, she found the heart beat and it was going at 150 - 160 bpm. I'm kind of upset that they didnt do an ultrasound to make sure that EVERYTHING was ok in there... but, at least the urine came back ok and I dont have a UTI... she thinks I am just dehydrated... even though I am CONSTANTLY downing bottle after bottle of water. Ugg. any way. I'm still having pain and not feeling that great. I have an OB appt on tuesday, so hopefully she can figure out whats going on in there

oh man - well i'm glad in the meantime everything seems to be (and is) ok!

keep us posted on your next appointment, but hang in there it will all be ok.

At least you don't have a UTI but I'll be thinking about you Tuesday. Let us know how it goes.

I will. Just talked to my OB's nurse about the cramping/pain and about hearing 2 heart beats. My OB is in surgery, but she said she will let her know whats up and that my OB will check it all out tonight. My appt isnt till 6:30 tonight, but I am keeping myself busy. Hoping that once DS2 gets home that we can have a quick lunch and then a nap. DS1 is home from school not feeling well, and he has an appt at 2:45 for possible pink eye. Oh the joys
