Default uh, isn't it a little early?

for my pants to be getting tight? i am not kidding. i know you think i am either exaggerating or that i have just been pigging out since i found out that i'm pregnant. neither is the case. it must be the bloating...but, i really can't believe how big i am getting this early on. i am 5 weeks and two days and this is my second pregnancy. i've heard that you tend to show earlier during your second pregnancy but i had NO IDEA it would be this early. i've already started unbuttoning my FAT jeans. the skinny jeans are long gone. i won't even try to stick a leg in there because it would just be too depressing. but, my fat jeans? just a couple of weeks ago i could have comfortably pulled them straight off without even unbuttoning. now, they pinch my stomach so i have a muffin top. WTF. is anyone else experiencing this? i don't really care since i know little can be controlled when it comes to weight and bodily changes during pregnancy. i guess i will need to start pulling out the maternity pants soon. that does make me sad though. i HATE those belly band things.
please tell me someone else is going through this!

Tee Hee! Your second pregnancy? Your waist is toast! You'll look a lot bigger earlier. I could put on maternity pants in another week and I would look 5mo along. That's find of course, unless someone asks you how far along you are, then it's just embarrassing!

I agree. I feel "big" ... bloated...gut cant be sucked in... constantly wearing sweaters and hiding it- I feel paranoid. Although Kevin commented on it thinking it would make me happy- No, the baby is smaller then a bean so i do NOT want to hear I'm lookin "plumpy". And I feel a couple of ppl have been shooting glances at my mid-section, and I secretly unbutton my jeans in the car. I hid it A LOT longer with DS. ugh. I feel gross and it's NOT a cute belly at all, especially what Jamie said- it'd be one thing if it was a "baby bump" but embarassing to say how far along I am- haha

I'm 6 weeks and already look like a dr. seuss character. It's hard to convince myself that I was THIN and FLAT tummied just 2 weeks ago. I feel like I must have been secretly fat all along to have this type of pooch so soon! *hands head in shame*...

I get some serious bloating in the first part of pregnancy. With my first I had to buy bigger pants at 8 weeks because I was so much bigger just because of the bloating. I bought maternity pants and then a few weeks later it disappeared again for another few weeks.

I actually showed later with my second than with my first. I don't think that will happen this time though

I'm definitely in this club! My pants are getting tight, but luckily I can still fit into my 'fat" pants. I want to hide this pregnancy from the whole world until at least May, so I'm going to have to get creative with clothing. I tried wearing a bella band the other day and HATED it. It shifted around and I felt like I was constantly trying to get it back where it belongs. Super awkward!

I think with the Bella Band you need the right size. Too big and it sags, too small and it rides up. I wear them while nursing, so I've been wearing them a LONG time. (It covers my belly while I nurse so I don't need nursing clothes)

Yeah, I had to wear my fat pants to church last night. I'm definitely curious how early I'll show this time. Last time I was 7.5 months and people were still surprised to hear I was pg, but I'm not expecting to be able to hide it that long this time!
