    Default weekly appointment

Well it sucked. I saw the midwife and she is going to go by my original due date of 11/01. She checked his hb and that's fine but as far as me being sick and getting much worse,i almost passed out i felt so sick, but there isnt anything more they can do. She didnt even check me and she wouldnt strip my membranes. She says they arent allowed to check me or anything till at least 38 weeks. She says they might check me next week but my appointment is 2 days before i am 38 weeks so probably not. I hate this dr office!

Ummm... That sounds like a load of bull. Anytime ive asked to be check, or have gone in saying ive been having confractions, they always check me. I can see them not stripping your membranes till next week, though, most doctors will do that starting at 37 weeks. Ugg, im frustrated and its not even me going through it hoping that your little big man gets the show on the road himself and gets out soon so that you can at least get more comfort

I'm so sorry!! I'm a little more than a week behind you and discomfort is definitely getting worse, so I can only imagine how you are doing with all your contractions and nausea Hang in there and think baby thoughts (I am for you!) - I hope they will check you at your next appointment and you get some good news that things are progressing!! They will check me at my 37 week appointment next week they said, and I'm really anxious to see if all that my body's been going through has done anything to move it along.

That stinks! My doc offered to check me last week. I hate that you're having to deal with a bad doc's office. Hoping your little one decides to come soon!

I finally got some proper tests done and some antibiotics when i went to another hospital and the Dr on call there even said she would accept me as a patient and wants to see me tomorrow. I loved that hospital and they had the nicest nurses so I'm quite happy that will be where I'm delivering now.
