Weird...

So I've had a really busy day today, rushing around all over the place with kids and tonight i came home got dinner on and sat down to chat with BFF on the computer. As I was watching the dinner I started to get more and more uncomfortable, my tummy felt really tight and pain in my mid-lower tummy, constant though not like contractions at all. It gt worse and worse to the point I could barely eat dinner and put the kids to bed.

I rang DH and told him once kids were in bed and I have gone to lay down in bed, and it fees a lot better now that I am laying down...but wow so weird! Never had anything like that with DD, I had BH all the time from 25 weeks onward but this is nothing lke that. I'm not worried because it has calmed right down ith rest but it's really annoying! I have dishes I need to get done! Blum 3

On a side OT note, I can't wait for DH to finish this stupid job he's been working on...he's working 9am-midnight every night at the moment and it's driving me nuts!!

That IS very odd-thankfully you listened to your body and took a rest when you needed it. Hoping you don't have anymore mystery sympoms and that your DH will wrap up that job soon so you can get more rest! Smile

That is strange, I'm glad you took the time to lie down. I hope your feeling better.

That sounds like some of the stuff I have had going on. What the doc told me is that its muscles and ligaments being pulled... he even thought that I had strained or done something with out noticing it on our trip. Also, if wee dude pushes his butt out, or switches position, I have it happen. It sounds to me that you did a lot yesterday, and your body was just telling you that it was tired. I really recommend seeing a chiropractor... it has done wonders for me with DD and this time around Smile

I've never been to one before but I have been thinking about it....do you use one that specializes in pregnancy or is that not necessary?

And thanks for letting me share/vent Biggrin

Wow I seriously can not believe you just posted this! I felt like the same thing happened to me on Saturday. I mean, at least it sounds the same. I suddenly felt a very tight sensation in my uterus, but it did not feel like a BH at all. It felt like pulling and pressue on my muscles. It lasted for half an hour and I also felt like I needed to lay down. I was thinking the baby felt really high up when I laid down and I wondered if that's part of it? I could hardly catch my breath for a minute. Then it went away and has been fine ever since. I figured if it happened again I would call the Dr, but it hasn't happened again. Maybe its not the same as what you experienced, but when I read your post I couldn't believe you felt something similar!

I see one who specializes in family care... which includes pregnancy. I have found that I have more pain and issues like that when I am out of whack Sad
