well its officially official...
Got the job offer, and accepted it. The catch, the position is in a place 2+ hrs away from where we are now. Yes, the timing is a bit stressful, but this is a permanent position, meaning no more contract positions, which is huge for our family. It is also an opportunity that DH has been waiting for since graduating college. He is still waiting to hear back from the HR person for confirmation, but it looks like his start date will be Sept. 24th. This, of course means some big changes for our family, and very quickly. We are currently starting to look for places that fits our family's needs in the area that the job is in. Our hope is to be able to move the last weekend of Sept., but could also be anytime after that. It is all going to depend on being able to find a place, and when it is available to move into.... also, when wee dude decides he is going to come.
There are a lot of things that need to be worked out/ figured out in the next few weeks. There will be at least a week, up to a month (hoping that that isn't the case) where I will be staying where we are at now with the kids on my own. There is just so much to figure out, and I feel like so little time to do it. I am nervous about all the changes this means, from DH starting a new job, being on my own at 7 months pregnant with 3 kids, packing finding a place, moving, transferring the boys's schools, finding and switching to a new OB, and so on. I just keep telling myself that this is going to be so good for us in the long run... that all the stress/worry and so on, is temporary, and will mean less stress/worry for our family in the future.
