WHAT WAS THAT??? (mini-freak out!)

OOOOOOOOOOOK.

This is my first mini freak out of pregnancy.

I was going about my business in the bathroom, and when I wiped, I had a BIG glob of goob come out... As I Was doing my best to not puke, I checked it out- It's all clear, no blood, not even a small tinge of it. I mean a big ball of goob like... about 2 cm wide. I'm a bit crampy today but, it's like every other day, and as I type this (I'm sitting in a weird position so I'm not positive as usually this only happens at night) I'm pretty sure bubs just kicked me a couple times.

But.. what was that?? Should I be concerned??? Should I just see how half of the day goes and judge in an hour or two? GAH. I kinda hate being a FTM and really not knowing what is up!!!

I would wait an hour or so and see how you're feeling. You can always just call your doctor's office and ask to speak with a nurse. When in doubt (for me, or either of my kids), I always do that and find out what they recommend! I've had a lot more CM myself, but if it makes you feel better, talk to the nurse, let them know what you're feeling and if anything is out of the ordinary, and they'll tell you to come in if anything sounds too strange. Seriously, call, that's what they're there for and it will put your mind at ease!

At my appointments, they tell me unless I'm leaking fluid, having cramps WITH bleeding (or any bleeding at all), it's probably all normal symptoms.

Ive been having that too. The mucus is completely normal. The cramping could just be things growing. Drink lots of H2O and get your feet up. If they get a pattern to them, or become more severe, then call your OB Smile Hang in there mamma, just about half way there Smile

Probably just part of your mucus plug. It regenerates itself. And the plug is actually rather a huge amount, so you just saw a small part of it. Minor cramping is also normal as your uterus expands. Sometimes I notice it when baby girl is in an odd position. At this stage I'd just drink water and rest and all should be fine.

Definitely some of the mucous plug - no blood, just small cramping-- still went for an emergency ultrasound.

All is well, and they could not give me photos... (on an emergency basis they can't give them because of hospital rules, but I checked out baby... such a cute little one Wink But she did the whole anatomy scan because they have too at this stage (17w4d is what baby measures...)

ANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD............

I can be added to TEAM BLUE Active little guy, with a good solid heart, my cervix is fine, all is well, I am o pelvic rest for a bit, more less just to be safe. But my bf is ecstatic over his boy -- I just wanted a healthy baby. Smile

It was a nice surprise at the end of a crappy time! Thanks everyone! BF opened his birthday gift yesterday of a blue pajama -- he was ecstatic when he realized "OMG ITS A BOY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!" He knew I Was a bit sad because I don't get my girl, but after yesterday -- I get a healthy baby it seems, and he gets his boy. Every body wins. (also my sister has two boys under 2 -- I already got 3 garbage bags of clothes -- and that's just the 6-18 month clothes.and a friend of mine has a 2 month old boy and a 2 yr old boy.... she already told me I am more then welcome to go through her stuff and take what I want as long as I give it back as she is planning on having 2 more kids... I am fine with that! lol) So at least on clothes, I am saving a LOT of money.

OH and the crampiness I had yesterday and I've had a couple days now? Tech confirmed, little dude is hanging out very low, and that's whats causing some lightning cramping and isn't a big deal because my cervix is strong and the size it should be. Watch... when I need him to be there to give birth, he will do like his daddy did and be in my ribs -- my bf hung out low when his mom was pregnant the whole pregnancy and was in good position, and the day she went in to give birth, his head was in her ribs lol....
