I know some people don't want to tell, that's fine, but for those of you who don't mind, what names are you thinking of naming your new little baby? We have no ideas yet. We are considering family names but are unsure. My father in law is John and my dad is Raymond...so we may go with John Raymond but, again, we don't know.
I would love to hear your ideas.
I think we're pretty set on "Carson", it's the only name me and DH can really agree on. My brother was Carl and he was murdered by his roommate (another US airman) at Camp Bucca, Iraq in 2006. I don't want to name the baby Carl (it's already bad enough that DS was conceived on the same day he died and has tons of his mannerisms) but I'd like to name him after my brother, so we thought a good variation of Carl could be Carson. I also like Jackson and Luke and so does DH but Carson actually has more of a sentimental connection to it so I'm like 90% sure that's going to be our name. The only thing holding me back from picking that name 100% is my mom keeps saying "Carlson"...... it's really annoying that she's ruining the name for me and Carlson is totally not the name I want the baby going by. We haven't even begun to think of middle names yet, it was so easy for DS because we just gave him DH's first name as his middle but obviously it wouldn't make sense to do it again.
I know if we have a boy he will be Griffin. I have loved that name since after I had DS.
I am fairly certain if we have a girl she will be Bailey. DH is the one who picked out Bailey. I said no at first, but I have come around to liking it and I can picture our little girl being a Bailey. Plus our last name starts with a B so it's kinda cute together.
DH is fighting for Katelyn Annabelle. I hate it.
He also really likes Zoe, Willow, and Kaylee.
I know a Kaylee and just can't do it. Willow sounds odd with our last name. I love Zoe. So we'll probably go with Zoe.
Now middle names? Yikes. Not going nearly as well at all!!! I want it to mean something like Aiden's middle name. *sigh*
I don't really want to get into name specifics, but let's just say the name DH and I love - and the only one we've been able to agree on, and the name DD has already started calling the baby - is the name our preacher's daughter named her third son who was born yesterday.
Preacher's daughter lives three hours away from us, so it's not exactly a deal-breaker. But it was a huge disappointment for me. This name isn't even in the top 100 boys names....
Middle names are pretty easy for us. We just let FIL and MIL give us a list of Korean names and pick the one we like best. And since I don't really have any preference in Korean names, there's usually no debate whatsoever.

DH is set on Cristiano. So I'm going with it. He won't budge on it. AT first I was like NO, but I am growing to like it more and more. Middle names are hard. I too wanted something to represent my late mom and brother. I didn't want his middle to be Shawn after my brother but it's now a maybe for me. I really wanted something of my mom and as I've mentioned before they were huge Elvis fans so we are considering Presley for a middle name. Our kids have 2 middle names (long story) and DH wants one to be Joao which is John in Portuguese and his dad and grandfathers names. So I"m not so set on Cristiano Joao Presley. Our last name is totally Portuguese and the wholename flows pretty well but still debating on either Presley to represent both mom and Shawn, or Shawn.
Girl names I like:
Grace (goes well with DD's name, and I really like it)
I could go on and on
Boys names I semi like (though, none are sounding right rivht now):
August (call him Gus)
Liam (though a bit too popular... I like names that are different... Or, at least more original)
Dh's girls names:
And, now im blanking on the rest...
Dh's boys names:
And, again, now I cant remember the rest lol
We are waiting till after our ultrasound next Friday to really delve into it...
We have had our names set for a couple months. DH liked Liam for a boy but I told him how popular it had become and so he yielded. Marek has been my favorite boy name for almost 2 years. Another variation is Merrick but I like how Marek is more uncommon/unusual. Thankfully DH came around to it. And the middle name was pretty easy because DH and his dad have the middle name Bryan so I let DH decide if he wanted to give our firstborn son (Kostas) the same middle name. So now that we are having another son I wanted to honor my brother and use his middle name (which he goes by) for this baby. He is a big part of my life and my best friend so it makes me really happy to have this baby have his middle name
Honestly I am really relieved to the name game done because I am so particular about names that it stresses me out to have them up in the air.

It's really hard to get DH to talk about names, but... We have agreed on Chloe, or Zoe for a girl. But I like Zoe better and he likes Chloe better.
For boys names...argh, I just don't like any!! All my favorite boys names where automatically ruled out when I met DH. DSS is Xander ( Alexander is his full name) which rules out Xavier ( too close) and Alexander. And Taylor has always been one of my favorite boys names but now it's our last name! I like Nikau but DH doesn't want a Maori name and my mum told me she won't acknowledge a Maori name, she will call it something else... (sigh) its not even a REAL Maori name, it's just the name of a native tree....
