lol. Oh, I would much rather that it wasnt such an over achiever. It means all sorts of worrying, bed rest, and hospital stays. I honestly would rather that it wait to 34/35 weeks to start the prep, and then just take a couple of weeks to do it

I've done castor oil and was just the push I needed to put me into labor. I walk around dilated to 5cm for weeks. My husband is a pilot, so he is in & out of town frequently and walking around at 5cm is a little unnerving! I would hate for him to miss the birth and there's only so many times he can call in and ask for grace! He literally cancelled 3 trips with one of our kids, and the baby still hadn't come after walking my butt off, getting my membranes stripped, pushing heavy carts full of paper & dog food around costco for hours, sex - you name it. So I tried castor oil and we had a beautiful baby 3 hours later, with none of the gross side effects. I definitely wouldn't reccomend it to anyone, but that birth was WAY better than the one we opted to be induced to avoid him missing the birth. I'll never be induced ever again. ever!

This time, I probably won't try any drastic measures. I'd much rather let things happen naturally, but we will have to see what his schedule is like in late October/early November. He just started a wih a new airline, so I don't know how much they will let him get away with as far as cancelling trips. Hopefully it will all work out. Fingers crossed!
