Your best time of day?

What do you feel is your best time of day lately?

I feel best physically first thing in the morning after a rest, but lately am just overwhelmed at my boys' energy and look forward to taking them to school in the morning...but then it feels so lonely and empty without them once I get back home!! I am chalking it up to all these hormones making me super emotional lately!! Smile Just curious as to how everyone else is feeling, both physically and emotionally throughout these final weeks and days...

I usually feel physically best when I first get up, but I'm not a morning person at all. I'm a bit of a grump for at least an hour if not two. I'm emotionally my best after lunch (especially if Aiden goes down for a nap! lol). I tend to be my most productive in the mid afternoons if I was able to rest cause Aiden napped. I do find it easier to be productive after he's awake because then I'm not afraid of making loud noises (and just going up and down the stairs calmly sounds loud in his room). By dinner time I'm soooo DONE. I have aches and pains and I'm just plain uncomfortable.

i just get really tired by the evening hours, thats why i hate having dishes to do and such after dinner!

For me it just depends on the day, how well Ive slept, and how much I did the day before. Generally I feel the best in the morning,. The evening is usually when I contract and have the most pain and pressure. Ive been
Spending more and more of my evenings in the tub... Though, lately even that doesnt help like it used to Sad

If I got enough sleep the night before, any time before lunch is a pretty good time. Generally I've used up all of the energy I have for the day by about 1 or 2. Sometimes after resting all afternoon, I have a spurt of energy right before bed. But usually I only have about four hours of energy a day. Sad

Of course, I'm spending all day caring for a very active 3-year-old. Today we spent an hour grocery shopping. She ran through the store for the entire hour. I think my energy level would be low even if I weren't pregnant. Wink

I agree, evenings, I am just DONE. I have a ton of contractions every night and my body is just worn out from the day it seems! My OB said I might be having as many contractions during the day but am just too busy to notice all of them till I sit down in the evenings. I've been having to fit in extra hours for work after I get the boys to bed lately - trying to finish everything up before maternity leave and ensure I have a job to come back to (if I want it) in January! I sit down with my computer and put my feet up, and I start feeling all kinds of contractions and kicks from my little guy!!

It depends on the day for me. I used to feel best mid morning and right after lunch time. Recently I acutally feel best in the evenings. Not right before bed or anything. I am done at bed time! When I say evening I mean when I am about to leave work, pick up DS, make dinner, play with him, relax on the couch, hang out with DH, etc. But once 10:00pm rolls around I suddenly feel like I can't even walk upstairs!

I'm most productive in the morning, although lately it is hard to get moving!

i agree with the others, the evenings royally suck these days! my back feels like a solid, painful mass. i am tired and irritable. i have no energy to cook, clean the dishes, or bring my son upstairs to bed.

i think my best time of day is the morning but i don't really feel refreshed then either. UGH. 37 weeks. 3 more to go.

I'm going to have to go with mornings depending on the nights sleep... But even if I don't sleep well the night before, mornings are generally still best even if I am a little more lethargic.

I am also done by the evening. My body starts to ache and be worn out and I'm usually tapped from work and to do's. So mornings and afternoons are my best time.

I think the mornings as well, depends on what's going on, sometimes mid morning/afternoon I go on a cleaning rampage and get a lot accomplished- but then I get crampy/sore/tired..

So far evenings are just the worst- the acid reflux, sore rib from baby kicking, constant puking in my mouth, as well as just being tired is getting to be more then I want to handle right now!
