I don't know why but the last few days I have been feeling extremely depressed. Which makes no sense because we are extremely happy about this baby... we had to go through IVF for him/her. I just recently came off my progesterone and estrogen, does anyone think this could be the cause of it? My next doctors appointment isn't until April 30 so I don't know what I should do or how to get out of this funk. I just can't wait to get to the second trimester to be able to breathe a slight breath of relief. Is this truly normal or something that I should be worried about?
I think it's normal because all of your hormones go crazy when pregnant. However, if you're feeling really really down, you should talk to your dr. I suggest giving him/her a call and letting them know what's going on before your next appt.
Hope you feel better soon.
And congrats on your pregnancy

Give your doc a call. I bet it's the hormone change, but that doesn't diminish it. Just give them a heads up and see what they think. I know my provider is huge on prenatal depression, it can happen at any stage and it is important to take care of of yourself, both body and mind.
Thank you so much for all of the advice. I did call the doctor and he believes that it is from coming off of all the hormones and my body trying to regulate. This is my first pregnancy and it is such an amazing thing to be able to come here and ask advice before freaking out with the doctor. Thank you all again!!
