Cramps/Lower Abdominal Pain?

I've been having lower abdominal pain off and on. The pain will shoot to my groin area and down my right leg and up my back (the right side). I've been having cramps off and on that feel like a period, but no spotting. At my first appt (just filling out paperwork) when I asked about it, I was told that if I had continuous cramps for 3 hours then to go into the ER.
I just fear somethings wrong. :/ My next appt is Tuesday and that's when I'm suppose to have my dating u/s.

It might just be because I'm not staying as hydrated as I should, but I didn't think that would cause so much pain.

Any thoughts?

:lurk: I don't know if I have much feedback. I have been having some cramping... I'm in the Dec13 board. With my DS1 I had a ton of cramping and with DS2 I had cramping. I know that my cousin with her DD had a lot of cramping where she was really worried. KUP.

I'm 9 weeks today and I'm having some pretty bad cramping. I know I had cramping in all of my other pregnancies but I don't remember it being this far along. Keep me posted!!

Did you ever get any info from the dr.? I had cramping, though it wasn't "hot" cramps. And I would also have those shooting pains. Mine started around 6 weeks I think, and has really backed off, and I haven't felt them for a little while now (I'm 10 weeks).

I get the shooting pains, those are just the uterus expanding, round ligament pain. Annoying, but over quickly. You'll probably get them again later!
