Lurker....I got pregnant with #2 when I was on Mirena. Mine actually fell out and I didn't know. Do you know for sure that yours is still in? Hope everything goes well with your appt tomorrow!

Thanks, I don't know. I can't feel the strings:/. I guess best case scenario would be if it came out on its own, right?! I'm so nervous for tomorrow!! I'll definitely post when I get done!

Yes, my Dr said that that is the best case scenario. When he couldn't find it, I had to have 2 u/s to check for it to make sure it hadn't gone up into my uterus. It was scary! Again, I hope everything goes well today!

    Lurker

My SIL also got pregnant from expelling her Mirena. I hope everything goes well for you today!

Well had the u/s...the mirena is not in the uterus...she thinks it's in the abdomen or it expelled:/. Still don't understand how that would have happened but she said with the amount of bleeding I was experiencing that it was most likely placed wrong either way. They are going to do another u/s in 2 and a half weeks and then an x-ray in the second trimester if everything is ok and possibly surgery to remove then or remove at the c/s. The sac only measured 4 + weeks (and given the spotting i've had) it may not continue and I'm ok with that as bad as that may sound. It's just a waiting game at this point.
