Default I know it's Early, But...

Has anyone been thinking of names? I know I'm kind of crazy ha ha.

With DD1 I had known what I wanted to name her before I got pregnant. I always wanted to name my girl "Isabelle" since I saw the movie "Stepmom". With DD2 I had known what I wanted to name her a little after I had DD1 because I saw a marathon on Gilmore Girls and began loving the name "Lorelei" ha ha.
Then with DS my husband and I decided together (with the girls he didn't have a choice ha ha) when we started talking about trying.

Although, with him, I made a list of names and had my husband narrow it down and we decided from there. I already have a huge list of both boy and girl names, although I know DH won't agree to most of the girl names ha ha. We had this problem last time too. We couldn't find a girl name we loved.

If DD1 had been a boy, she would've been named Jem (my ex picked that name, I wasn't too crazy about it).
If DD2 had been a boy, she would've been named Sebastian.
If DS had been a girl, he would've been Savannah.

Part of me doesn't wanna "Recycle" our "would be names" but they're still on my list.

    Just wondering

For a girl we have decided on Zelie (prn Zay-lee). Marie-Azelie (Zelie for short) was the mother of Saint Therese. We just like the name. For a boy we really don't know yet!!

I think recycling is fine! Chase would have been Zelie if he were a girl!

We have a boy first name picked but we'll have to fight out the middle name - my husband wants an awful name. But since it looks like this one is a girl, it probably won't matter. We're almost set on a girl's first name. DH wants a little more time to see if something comes to him. Since he has never once come up with a single girls name, I think the one we've already picked will be it and we'll just have to figure out the middle name. The boys names he comes up with are so terrible, I doubt even if he thought of something that I'd agree to it.

I agree it's fine to recycle! We have liked the name Gabriel, with the nickname Gabe, since before we had kids, but then ended up going with Andrew (Drew) and Camden and I think if we have a boy this time, we'll use Gabriel. When I was pregnant with Drew, we had a patient at our clinic who was really naughty named Gabe so I think that made me not like it as much for a while! Then when I went to my 6 week check up after I had Drew, there was a birth announcement there of a family that had a Drew, Katy (my name) and Camden and I loved Camden so we had that boy name picked out for a while before we had him!
For girls, we're unsure. DH and I like the name Hannah, but I always give nicknames to kids and I don't know how I'd nickname that one!! I also really like Adelaide with the nickname Addie, but am not set on a girl's name really. I'll think more about it after we know the sex of the baby!

I'm just weird with the whole recycling names ha ha. My husband probably wouldn't care one way or the other. He's still a little in shock (as am I) that #4 is on the way.
I think sometimes with names, that it sounded good at the time, but then it's not a favorite anymore.

I really like the name Amara for a girl. For a boy there's a few but nothing that I've really settled on that I'd try to convince DH ha ha.
I'm getting excited though thinking of what we could name the baby. I have a huge list saved in my email ha ha.

I think that if this is a boy, I'm pretty sure that we'll be recycling a name from the first time around. It's a name that wouldn't have fit Carson, but we still loved it. Though, DH won't discuss names until we know the gender. I have my heart set on a girl name, but not sure that DH will go for it. He's already voiced a concern about it. I don't think it's valid though, and I'm going to push it

We oddly enough just don't care much for the second girl name we had picked out last time, not because we don't like it, but because I don't think it is my top anymore. Although I think I'll use the middle name I had paired. We never did settle on a boy name last time, but I think we have a general idea of the direction we'd go in this time.

    Hi!!!

My Fiance and I were thinking of names a few weeks back - yes, very early but wanted to see what he was thinking or just wondering if he was happy and excited about the pregnancy and Low and behold.....I said for a boys name I was thinking Brandon - he said what is wrong with Bryce - I LOVE it... and if it is a boy his name will be Bryce Allen - (allen is passed down from the brother of his that passed away at 12) his mom wanted us to use the middle name... If it a girl - I was stuck a bit and mentioned Makayla and he said Stefani Ann - which I love ( very common but I like it!!) so names are PICKED!!!

I wrote a list of 9 boy and 9 girl names and sent them to my husband 3 times ha ha. So far I have to wait for him to get time to actually look over the list and see what he thinks. I starred the names I liked a lot so hopefully he will like the same ones and we can narrow them down better
