    Default So nauseous!!!

Oh my, I feel soooo sick! I have been so nauseous all weekend! With my boys, I would feel sick off and on, but this is an all day kind of thing. With Camden, I always felt sick in the evening, but it was nice to know that when I woke up, I would feel better. The past 3 days, I don't feel like there's been any relief! The only thing that seems to help is to sip ginger ale so I've been drinking tons of that and just went and got 2 more big bottles! I told my hubby I need an IV drip of ginger ale I work part time and am home with my boys tomorrow so I already rented a movie b/c I've just been sick and resting all day. I work as a pediatric physical therapist, so my job is super active and I have no idea how I'm going to handle Tuesday! Plus only a couple of my coworkers know so I'm going to have to try my best to hide it! How are you all feeling? Any good nausea remedies?

I just went out last week and bought a bunch of Ginger Ale. Plus they were on sale ha ha. I got 3 12 packs of the green tea kind and then 3 2 liters of the regular kind. Last pregnancy that's almost all I could drink. So far I've found that if I eat a few small meals throughout the day I don't feel as sick. I bought some preggie pops too and if I suck on two in a row it kind of works too haha.

Ugh I really hope nausea passes for you and me both soon.

Call your doctor for Zofran. Seriously it's the only thing that really helps me, just beware of the constipation. Limeade and popcorn is also pretty helpful for me, but I think with food and drinks, it's trial and error. Different things have worked for me each pregnancy.

I think my queasiness is beginning, I felt awful last night when I was trying to sleep. And a little this morning. My friend recommended these Chimes Original Ginger Chews, 1-pound bag: Amazon.com: Grocery & Gourmet Food

She said you can get them at Fresh and Easy if you have one of those near you.

Thanks ladies for the advice! I am feeling better today than this weekend thankfully and although I am still nauseous, I can function, which is good! I think one of my big things is I need to make sure I'm eating enough even when I feel sick. Funny you should say something about limeade b/c that was one of the only things that sounded good when I was just at the store so I bought a bunch! If it goes back to feeling like I did over the weekend, I will definitely look into getting Zofran.

2 things that have made my nausea almost non-existant: peppermint essential oil and b-complex vitamins. Make sure you get a good quality essential oil, put 1 drop in your hands, rub them together, cup them to your face and inhale deeply. Instant relief! The b-complex takes about a week to kick in. I take mine every night before bed. Once it kicked in, I've had little to no nausea!!

Best of luck mama! There's nothing worse when you have other LOs to tend to!

Yes I agree with taking vitamin B6 on a regular basis for nausea. I've also been told if you take vitamin b6 and unisom sleep tabs together that they combine to make a morning sickness miracle drug. Other things that work for me is mint gum, mint candies to suck on, and ice cold water and lots of it.

My doctor put me on B-Nexa prenatal vitamins. They have lots of vitamin B6 plus ginger in them and it has worked MIRACLES!!! I take one in the morning and one at night. When I forget to take it, my horrible nausea starts to return and reminds me to go get the vitamin!

I have been nauseous off and on for the last week but got hit really hard yesterday with all day sickness. wish I had some advice, I have always waited until I can't take it anymore and then got permission to take unisom and b6 at night. Works really well for me. I have always been sick the whole time with all 3 so I am not expecting much different this time :/. Glad you got some relief, hope you are able to hide it at work!
