    Default Stupid Bleeding Scares

Tuesday I hit 13 weeks. When "they" say you can relax. Well this little one has something else in mind. I started bleeding. First it was pretty brown and dark, they got me into a on office visit and things looked ok. Did an ultrasound because the doppler wasn't picking up. Turns out this one does not stop moving.

I went home and a few hours later went to the bathroom, red clotty blood. I went to the ER per the advice nurse. Well everything still looks fine. I had 2 ultrasounds my last pregnancy total. I'm up to 6 with 2 in one day now with this baby. I have the feeling I'll have my hands full with them. The next day I spoke with an OB for a phone appointment and I'm on modified rest. Full pelvic rest and no strenuous activity. I can still go to work, but nothing more than light walking.

They think it's placental movement. Capillaries can break off and new ones attach and that is the blood I'm seeing. I've still had stuff since Tuesday coming out, but it's not as much as Tuesday.

Both visits had the heartbeat between 147 and 150. And seriously this little one was all over the map, rolling, twisting, even got a wave and saw the hand. That helped me feel more confident and helps me understand why I've been so tired!

Well the upside is you've gotten to see your LO a lot! That's how DS was...I didn't bleed in my 2nd trimester, but I had constant cramps and possible contractions and was in the ER so much they knew who I was when I came in lol.

That's good that your LO is still doing good and just moving all over. I have heard of some women who bleed throughout their pregnancy. I bet that's so scary, but at least your mind is sort of at ease knowing what the reason for the bleeding probably is.

It is scary, I never had a drop of anything with my daughter. I never even lost my mucous plug or broke my water til the delivery! I spent most of Tuesday completely freaking out.

I've calmed down and have read a ton about other people who have bled and everything worked out perfectly fine. I'm just hoping I don't end up with placenta previa or anything.

I'm sure that is scary, but that is really good at how much your little one is moving around! I hope it stops and you don't have any more bleeding this pregnancy!
