33 week apt & belly pic

Pretty easy appointment. Everything was normal and only 1 lb gain from 2 weeks ago putting me at +26lbs so far.
Dropped into goodwill before my appointment and picked up a retro swivel rocker that I'll redo for Kessler's room. For $5.00, I figured I wasn't really loosing out. I think it will end up looking like it could have come from IKEA or something. Def. recovering it with funky print that goes with the nursery or a bold color....what about the wood? Think I should paint it white?

Here's a belly pic & 1 of the rocker

Wow... that was a good deal on that chair! What color is the other furniture? If the crib is white, I would probably paint it. Otherwise I might just leave the wood alone.

Glad you had a good appt too! Oh & you look great... perfect preggo belly!

Murphy's Oil Soap

I agree with the person who suggested that if your nursery furniture is dark wood, you could just leave it as it is. At most, you could scrub it with some Murphy's oil soap and apply a couple of coats of furniture polish. By the way, I LOVE that chair. So jealous.:) I think a bright, bold print would look great on it.

You look great! That chair is pretty awesome, I'd agree to make the wood look like the rest of the wood in the nursery.

You look great! The chair is cute, I'd paint it if it would match the rest of his furniture.

I'd leave the wood too! Especially since your crib and changing table are dark wood.

Great belly! I'm glad your appt went well!

thanks girls. I was thinking of leaving the wood as well. Now if I can just committ to my fabric for the room I'll be set. Abby is in preschool today from 12:30-3:30, so I think I may be marking off the wall for the birch trees
