36 week appt today

Wish me luck.

GBS test, l&d talk, and I'm going to let him check to see if these contractions are doing anything or not. Guess I should've prepared my birth plan by now but I haven't lol Mostly because I'm not totally sure that I'll actually deliver in AL. I'll update later when I get home. I'm just miserable right now because I'm up so dang early (it's 5:30 here lol)

Good luck at your appointment! I'll be thinking of you today and looking for updates.

Good luck! So you're back in AL now? I didn't have a birth plan written down, but I probably should do that this time since I have a better sense of what I want.

GL & KUP!

I'm printing my birth plan out today... it's a really simple one but their are a few things that I don't want to compromise on... most are postpartum.

Welp, he talked me out of being checked. GOD I love my doctor. I have said from the get-go that I didn't want to be checked until I went to the hospital in labor. I told him this when I had my first appointment with him at 20-something weeks. So today I explained all of my signs/symptoms. He said a) all of that is VERY normal at this stage of a second pregnancy and b) that it could very well be doing something but him checking me wouldn't speed up the process. He reminded me about my 'very valid reasons for not wanting to be checked' (mainly, it means absolutely NOTHING... I could be 3 cm for weeks, I could be a fingertip and go tomorrow), and then said 'We can do it if you want, or not. It's up to you.' So I held strong. So I got no idea what's going on down there. Which is perfectly okay with me Smile

Didn't take in a birth plan. God I'm so lazy this go around LOL

I'm glad your appt went well. Last time I was checked & I ended up with horrible, painful contractions afterward. Glad your dr was looking out for you. Smile

And *this* is why I tolerate the sometimes ridiculous wait times that I have to put up with at his office lol

What an awesome dr! It's nice to know that they're actually listening, even when you get too excited and change your mind for a brief moment lol.
