Thread: 4D picture + other things

sorry, again, for not being here often. I have taken on a babysitting job, watching an 18 month old 5-6 days a week from 8am-4pm, so I have no time anymore!

So I had posted we had our 4D sonogram done, and we are expecting a baby girl, I couldnt be happier, I cried when they finally confirmed! She is so so so cute. My mother and I hit up all the big memorial day yard sales this past weekend and I did awesome! i also went to carters and tj maxx all in all I spent very little and got a ton! its so easy shopping for a girl.

I have my next doc appt on monday the 6th, and my 19 week sono at the hospital this saturday at 8am, i have a feeling my doctor will be concerned I have lost 3 lbs, so im still under prepregnancy weight. I have been eating a lot, ate 6 meals today! I dont know why I am not gaining, maybe taking on the 18 month old just has me burning the extra calories....

they informed me I have a posterior (sp?) placenta which is why I am not really feeling a darn thing I had felt kicks for a week then they stopped all together. I'll feel a light one here and there but not much of anything. im bummed about that.

Congratulations! I am sure you are just thrilled to have positive confirmation that your baby is a GIRL! She's adorable. Speaking of adorable, your tummy is, too!

I think you probably mean anterior placenta if you aren't feeling much.......I also have an anterior one and just (in the past week) so 20 weeks started feeling baby girl more and more.......ironically enough the only other time I had an anterior placenta was with my DD. Maybe its a girl thing...lol

Great news that you get to have a baby girl!! I LOVE yards sales. I'm glad you were able to get some great deals. A thrift store by us had a memorial day sale this weekend, and I was able to get a bunch of boy onesies and sleepers for about 50 cents a piece, so I was very happy about that. I wouldn't worry about your weight. Your body will do what it needs to do. Your belly pic looks like baby girl is growing just fine... very cute bump!!

I think you're right about not gaining because of chasing after the 18 month old! I've only gained 1 lb total and I have a 3 yr old and a 21 month old. It takes a lot out of you! It's a big change for me since I gained 70 lbs with DS and 50 with DD.

I love the u/s picture! I also have an anterior placenta and I noticed I didn't feel much around 18-20 weeks and now it's everyday constant kicking and squirming! You'll start to feel everything soon enough

Beautiful pics of you & your princess! Your bump looks great. I wouldn't worry about the weight unless there is another issue of concern. One of my close friends lost weight her entire PG (M/S mostly) but her & her baby were perfect in the end. I didn't gain into the plus column until about 2 weeks ago.
