8 hours....wooohoooo

Thanks to the $2.99 swaddler I got at the 2nd hand store yesterday "just to try" Little Miss Alli slept from 10:45 last night until 6:45 this morning. I usually get a 4.5-5 hour stretch so I don't complain but 8 hours was FANTASTIC!!

I also am thrilled with this generic brand of diapers I bought. They are Munchkin brand and are usually $7.99 a pack but they had a 3 dollar coupon on them so I paid $4.99. They are AWESOME. They kept her dry for that 8 hours when the other day during the day she leaked through a freaking HUGGIES diaper in like 3.5-4 hours.

Yay for sleep, I'm happy with the 5 hour stretch I'm getting, and swaddlers are amazing things:) We love generic diapers here to.

Wow! I'm lucky to get 2 hours of straight sleep. I even swaddle and put him in the swing but he always wakes up to eat. I am BFing though and he loves to eat!!! I havn't tried generic but I do love the pampers baby dry because I dont change him at night cause he always goes right back to sleep.

Enjoy your sleep!

Isn't it wonderful getting a full nights sleep? LOL! Sophia has been sleeping through the night for a week now. I'm contributing it to the zantac. She's a fussy baby and spitting up all over the place if we even miss one dose!

Hummmm, maybe I should try swaddling. I kind of forgot about it because Aidan is such a laid back good baby. He sleeps for about 4-5 hours for his first stretch, and then I just bring him in bed with me, and we snuggle/nurse/sleep for the rest of the night. It might be nice to get a longer first stretch of the night though????

Allison is sleeping better now that I don't swaddle! she has been going 6-7 hours for her first stretch at night. No napping during the day, but i'm so thankful for a little sleep at night. I go back to work soon, so I was getting a lil nervous

Some of you guys are lucky! I think Caleb sleeps pretty well because he usually sleeps 2 hour stretches at night(my other 2 liked 90 minutes stretches). I've gotten a handful of 3 hour stretches at night and he's slept 4 a few times but only while in the baby hawk lol. I've never had a "good sleeper" though. DD was still getting up to nurse every 4 hours on her 1st b'day.

Kessler was crazy around week 5 and then amazingly Saturday night he went about 6 hours when I was lucky to get 3 usually. He had a repeat performance last night. He's eating better and I also swaddled. I hadn't been swaddling b/c he freaked out usually but after a fussy evening I swaddled him and he passed out and stayed that way. YAY for Alli and all the other babies that are being good to their mommies. I can't say that I think it will last for me, but my DD was a great sleeper by this poing, so I'm hoping we're on a roll.
