My early intuition was girl, girl, girl. But then we were thrown off by the last ultrasound and were still convinced it was a boy. On the way to the u/s I told my husband, "If it's a girl, you can't go storming out and leave me alone at the Dr's office." He said he wouldn't, he would just pull a Henry the 8th and chop my head off. Sooo much love So when it was time to look, all of a sudden he went and sat in his chair in the corner. I wasn't catching on.... the tech had to tell me "IT's a GIRL!" I was ecstatic while he was pouting. He said he needed a day to soak it in and sulk and pout. I can't blame him, he really had his heart set on a boy. Just shows that life is never what you expect. We went to Babies R Us and got our registery started. I'm trying not to go overboard with pink, but IT'S SO FUN!! Today I'm taking a cake to work that's dyed pink to let my co-workers know. Very exciting times. I ate a candy bar before the appt. hoping that she would be active and not hiding and sleeping. Note to self: only eat 1/2 a candy bar. She was wild!
I'll upload some pictures tonight after work. Thanks for all the great support!
Congrats on joining us few ladies in Team Pink! I think we're starting to catch up. Isn't it so much fun looking at all the girl stuff???

My husband doesn't really want a son. I think he's always been a little more comfortable around girls, and he didn't have any brothers growing up. He's just not into sports and cars and such.
Next Tuesday, I find out if it's a boy or a girl. I want a girl, too, but something tells me this is a boy. If we find out it's a boy, I wonder if my husband will sit in the corner and pout, too! LOL. It will be a funny comparison.
I didn't know eating something sugary before an ultra sound will make a baby more active...I'll give that a try next time.
So excited to have another girl added to the pink team. Our boys were taking over! Just wait until that little girl comes. Your DH will be like putty in her little tiny hand.
Oh and the candy bar - yup totally works. I ate an entire snickers before my DD's U/S and she was a crazy wild woman. The tech had a hard time getting measurements because she was so crazy but we were also about to find out what she was b/c of that. This time I had a cinamon pop tart and that did the trick as well. He wasn't quite as crazy, but def moving
