I was having contractions this morning and called my doctor to let her know. After hearing about my trip yesterday, she told me to go straight to L&D. I'm still dilated 1cm and 70% effaced and -1 station. My doctor said that she can even feel her head when she was checking me!!!BTW, those checks really are starting to be quite uncomfortable. I am on strict bedrest for the next 3 weeks which I am so depressed about.
I can't even drive!! They also gave me a steroid injection which hurt like SOB and prescribed me Procardia to stop the contractions. If I don't have her in the next 3 weeks, then I can come off bedrest and go back to work. I just can't believe how close I am gettiing!!

Thank you everybody! It's depressing being on bedrest, but I know it is for the best. I have always felt so bad for women who have to be on bedrest and now look at me! Go figure! It kind of makes me feel like a failure in a way especially since this is my 2nd complicated pregnancy. My body just does not like being pregnant at the end, I guess, or I just have very impatient children. I'm trying to be positive though and try my best to not get addicted to online shopping the next 3 weeks.
That is so funny that you say that because when the nurse was going over my bedrest instructions, she said the same thing! I feel bad for DH having to do both our chores though. Plus DS starts Kindergarten on Monday so he is really going to have his hands full. I already have been jokingly calling him "Mr. Mom!" I don't think he likes that so much. LOL!
