Baby shopping spree today :D

Went on a little impromptu baby shopping spree today! I had a bunch of BRU coupons that expire on the 21st so I figured I might as well get stuff I know I'm going to want/need at a reduced price.

Got an AngelCare monitor (the cheaper one with only one 'parent unit'): http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2343185

The ItzBeen:

Nursing cover:

Pump:

"Bathtub":

I registered for that baby timer! It's so cool! I wish they had that when I had DS.

You got some good items!!! I have the Itzbeen timer and used it with DS and it was great!!! I also love the manual breast pumps. Are you planning on mostly BFing? I am going to do breastfeeding and have DF do a bottle a day or when we go.

I'm glad so many liked the itzbeen. I didn't have it with DD and I was on the fence about getting g it this time but i had a 20% off coupon and it was that or the bumbo. I figure I can find a gently used bumbo for pretty cheap so I went with the itzbeen Smile

I hope to bf but I want the ability to pump a bottle or two so I can leave the baby with a sitter or dh for a few hours to have some mommy time. Not planning on doing enough pumping to justify the expense of an electric. I had a manual with DD and could actually get a good bit of milk with it. I had a mini-stock pile (a days worth of bottles) after just a few times pumping with it :eek:

Yay for shopping sprees!

I have never heard of the Itzbeen but after reading this thread... I think I'm going to get one. I just added it to my registry. I wrote everything down last time & it was such a pain... it was nice to have the record (since I couldn't remember anything past a millisecond) but a pain to do... especially at night.
