It's official....I have a very stubborn and lazy baby girl in my tummy! The u/s tech was laughing at hard headed she was being. She kept trying to get a good picture of her spine, but Sophia is still breech and in a fetal position. The tech would jab the u/s wand at her and she would just fling her hand out and tuck even tighter into a ball. Like trying to say "leave me alone!! I am sleeping!" LOL! We could also see that she is kicking my spine instead of my stomach. That is going to feel awesome when I'm in my third trimester! She did thankfully let us get a good look between her legs and they were able to verify 100% GIRL! So I can breathe a sigh of relief and get started on the nursery! We already got her bedding in and her crib and dresser is on layaway. Now I just have to get DH to get rid of that dang ping pong table that is taking up all the room in the nursery.
My belly is measuring 23 weeks...the doctor didn't really say anything about so I don't know really what that is supposed to mean. They never really told me how my belly was mearsuring with DS. I was also told that they are going to do another ultrasound in my last trimester to check and see if she has moved out of a breech position. I hope so! After all this planning on a natural birth, I really do not want a c-section! It was a very good appointment and I'm a little bummed that my next appointment will be just a plain boring pre-natal appt. I have been so spoiled with all these u/s!
I'll update with pics when I get home from work!
