I never EVER had any cravings with DS, my last angel I craved beef a LOT, now this one I can't stop craving EVERYTHING.
I can't watch TV without wanting to eat everything they show. Last night I craved orange salad and roasted chicken, I was watching the last episode of Desperate Housewives.
I crave stuff I HATE all the time, like white bread and mayonnaise and cheap sliced cheese lol!
Any of you finding yourself craving stuff every 5 minutes?
With DS#1 I couldn've eaten Cheeseburgers and fries all day long. DS#2 I HATE seafood of any kind and I craved tuna fish sandwiches - UGH! It was so gross. This one I haven't really had any cravings - I'm very averse to a lot of foods though that I never was with the boys - the thought of chicken breasts like cooked on the grill or any kindof poultry like that - YUCK! Pasta - BOO! Peanut butter not so into and was all over with the boys. I've really just been eating a lot of fruit and snacky stuff it seems like.

with dd didn't have any major cravings. The only thing was I saw a food network thing on popsicles and then ate popsicles nonstop the rest of the summer. With this one, I found myself eating saltier foods but nothing specific. However, in the first trimester, I couldn't stand the sight of food being cooked or preparing food without puking, so we ate out pretty much the entire first trimester. LOL. Now (thank goodness) my love for cooking has returned.
I also have a lot of aversions. My favorite food is asian of any kind(thai, japanese, korean, etc) but I can't stand the thought of eating any of that now!
This is my first child so I have no basis for comparison. However, I have been able to identify unusual cravings because they are so strong that I felt like I absolutely MUST get the food I crave. My cravings are for hot, salted tater tots and fruit slushes. Ironically enough, both of these items are available at Sonics (a popular drive in restaurant in Texas and Oklahoma). In general, potatoes seem to be a big favorite of mine as is spicy food.
MMM hot salted tater tots sound delicious! I have been craving a lot of ice cream lol. I still am afraid to prepare a real meal for myself because of the cooking smell. I've been eating out more or doing microwave/oven things.
Heck no. I have heard from a lot of women that cooking smells offend them or even make them vomit. I still can't stand to be in the kitchen and I'm well out of the first tri. I feel guilty that I'm not in there making myself these nutritious meals![]()
