Could this finally be something? (TMI)

My tummy felt so sick yesterday! Sad I woke up to some really painful cramps and it pretty much lasted all day. I could even feel them in my back and legs. They felt different than any contractions I felt before, but I was able to time 3 which were 15 min. apart. They became so inconsistent that I stopped timing them. Then I had diarrhea all day! I remember that I felt this way before my water broke with DS so I told DH to be on baby watch. I thought for sure either yesterday or today would be it. Well today, I feel normal other than some pressure in my back and lower abdomen, but nothing I can't tolerate. I just know it's going to happen on a day that I'm feeling perfectly fine and don't even expect it...like today. LOL!

Oh and after being lazy all day Saturday, I got a sudden burst of energy and cleaned the whole house! I'm thinking that it has to be this week for sure. This waiting game is pure torture!!

A few days before I went into labor with DS, I had super inconsistent contrax (7-25mins apart), then the night before I went into the hospital I had diarrhea, and was throwing up from the pain of the contrax. It could definitely be coming real soon! Of course everyone is different, but I say its most definitely getting close!!!

I've had it off and on for about 2 weeks, but yesterday was the worst so I'm hoping it means something. It's either that or my dinner the night before just didn't agree with me. LOL!

Try not to look into things too much. You'll make yourself crazy!! The bottom line is, with symptoms like that, it could be in the next day or two... or you could still have a couple weeks. Yes, I'd say those are symptoms that your body is gearing up, but definitely no definite signs yet. Hang in there! Smile I know this isn't what you want to hear, but I typically have looser bowls and contractions on and off for a month before I finally go into labor!

agreed.

I am making myself nuts with every little pain, lol. like i told you last night, the sharp vaginal pain knocked me off my feet, along with her head grinding my pelvic bone, and extreme preassure, but im only 33 weeks! i could have another 7+ weeks of this!

i cant complain though, i have super amounts of energy which is awesmoe.

Nooooooo! LOL!

I really never thought I'd be like this thinking every little thing is a sign of labor. I'm an impatient person anyways and I think it's just driving me crazy now. Smile My mom kind of plays into it too. Every little thing I'm feeling, means labor will start soon. If it was up to her, I would have had the baby 2 weeks ago when my stomach issues started. It really could have just been the hot wings I ate the night before that made it worse since I'm feeling just fine now. I'm just going to chill out and let nature take its course. I just can't wait to meet this little girl and I'm so looking forward to us ladies having our babies soon, full term of course. Come on babies!

I know EXACTLY what you mean! TOday I just feel "different" so I'm sure something has got to happen soon. But I'm trying not to read into it too much as well. But it IS knew hard not to!

The waiting game SUCKS, especially when things seem like they may or may not be happening.

I guess that my having NO signs of labor with DD was a blessing in disguise lol

COMPLETELY agree. I'm waiting until something definitive happens (bloody show, water breaking, severe unrelenting contractions). I hate the analyzing every sing pain, cramp or movement.

First of all... mmmmm...hot wings... Smile
ITA w/ Laurie, after 3 labors that went on for 2/3 weeks each and flipping out over every bout of ctrx, I've decided this time to just let it go. In fact, the past two nights I've had a half glass of wine before bed just so the ctrx would stop long for the night so I could sleep! As much as I'm getting excited about the baby, I definitely want to wait at least 1 more week if not two.

I've also been noticing the digestion stuff, and basically I make a note of it - at least I know my iron intake isn't making me constipated! could be worse!

I have definitely decided to just go with the flow and not over analyze every little thing. I'm not going to worry about it until I have contrax that keep me from walking or talking or if my water breaks. With DS, my water just broke at 34 weeks so I wasn't expecting it and had no signs of labor except for the digestive issues. This whole being impatient thing is going to drive me nuts! Smile But wine sure does sound really good right now!! LOL!

yup! up to a glass a day of red wine after 36 wks is considered safe and possibly even beneficial, as red wine is a good source of iron and helps to oxygenate the blood.
So enjoy!

Probably sounds terrible, but I don't think I can drink just one glass. LOL! DH keeps telling me to just drink a glass so I can relax, but I told him all a glass will do is tease me so I just always say no. I sound like such a lush! Smile

I can completely relate with all this pre labor stuff. With DS it wasn't so bad until about 2 weeks before I had him. With DD it started about a month before she was due, then she came a week after her due date! It has already started up for me this time, so we'll just have to wait and see! It is hard to cope with but of course its best for baby to keep on baking, well up to a point :).
