So I have just realised how crazy busy we will be for the next 2 months. On Friday my girls break up for 1 week from school. During which we have a Bank Holiday, a day trip to visit my sister, and a birthday party to go to. Then when they are supposed to go back to school we are driving to Italy for vacation for 2 weeks. Then when we get back we have 4 1/2 weeks until we move. Well I am not even ready for vacation yet, let alone moving. The day we move is also the girls last day of school for the summer. Oh and of course I am pregnant so can't lift anything heavy and have no energy. This could get interesting lol Oh and unless our landlord will let us extend we will be homeless for a week too lol
Do you think it is possible to just go to sleep and wake up there with it all done lol
Although we don't have a ton of plans coming up it is still about to be completely hectic but only because as of next Thurs I will go from one child being home all day to all 5 of them being here all day....

that is crazy busy. At least you have Italy to relax. Try not to stress about the move during the trip. I've moved A LOT in the past 5 years, and I've actually come to realize that if you try to pack a little at a time over weeks, it's actually worse. you're staring at boxes for the longest time and it's so hard to pack up half your life and the minute you pack up a certain pot or pan, you realize you need it. I usually just pack things a few days before the move. Obviously it depends on how much stuff you've accumulated. I did have some things like photos and things that we REALLY would not need packed up a week or two in advance, but the rest I left for the day or two before. How far is the move? Will there be someone where you're moving to help unload the big stuff? DH was awesome this move since I was pg.
all the busy-ness sounds fun at least - except the moving!! uuugh! moving while pregnant has been a really tough experience for me! Esp since dh isn't around during the day, and when he is, we can't both work together cuz it's when the kids are home - and getting a babysitter is super expensive! But we also moved everything ourselves - with friends not movers, so that added stress even though everyone's been so helpful.
I hope you have a great time vacationing and an easy move!!

Thanks guys. The hardest part will be my 9th old daughters room. She is a hoarder lol and won't get rid of anything. I have moved a lot too she has had 6 addresses since birth lol. The last time we moved (into this house) we had no furniture and had just moved back from the US so did not have much. We have accumulated a lot of stuff lol Also this is my third pg and every time I have been pg we have moved lol Poor DH. We are only moving a couple of miles. To a bigger house and one that is in the right catchment area for schools. We never use a moving company either just try to rely on friends. But we get keys on a Friday so it will be hard to find anyone to help that day to move furniture and stuff. Oh well we will all survive right lol. I am going to go on vacation and not think about it. Just deal with the panic, mayhem and stress when we get back lol
