SO excited!! I have two bassinets I want to trade in (one that has been handed down and used by... um... 5 kids I think?) and a pink one that was S's.

I'm seriously thinking about trading in the McClaren umbrella stroller.

*IF* Owen's crib didn't make the big move, I'll take that in and get a new crib for him.

In HILARIOUS news, a friend of mine in Hawaii was pregnant with her first son the last time they had the Trade In, so she didn't have any kid stuff of her own to take in. But she and her hubby were on the way to BRU to buy furniture for their son when they passed a dumpster that had a swing or highchair or something sitting at it. They whipped the car around, picked up the swing, took it in, and got a good discount on their furniture LOL

I just can't get over the thought of them dumpster diving for baby gear to take to the trade in

No joke, I took a carseat from the "goody pile" at our recycling center to trade it!!!!

I was given a snug ride from a friend but she put the cover in the dryer and total warped it and melted the backing. Usable, but I want new for my baby girl$ so I'll trade in one or the other, but keeping the bases for inlaws car.

Too funny about the garbage... I was actually considering doing that last time when I needed something. BRU told me it didn't matter what shape or condition the item was in... especially car seats because they just go straight to the dumpster. I'd say saving money is a great reason to dumpster dive. LOL
