Doppler echo

Lately I've been getting that echo on my doppler, where it sounds like you're hearing two heartbeats in different spots. It's weird cause if you shift the doppler wand around, you can hear the heartbeat in slightly different spots and it sounds a little different in each spot. And then sometimes I think I hear two heartbeats at once! I'm sure it's just an echo. At my 8 week ultrasound they only saw one baby. But sometimes I question the count my doppler gives me cause it flips around a lot, like from 130's up into 140's or 50's. That may just be the machine trying to keep up though lol.

I have a friend who didn't know until her 20 week US that she was having twins. The THREE US's she had prior to that only saw one baby. Baby B was hiding.....

That said we knew at my 1st US with my twins 12 yrs ago that we were having twins but they were side by side.....however at my 2 OB appts prior to that US we didnt know as their HBS were always VERY similar.

Well maybe I will be the one having twins! That would be wonderful and terrifying lol. I doubt it though as I am 15 1/2 weeks and don't have the slightest hint of a bump yet. I would think if there were two babies in there, I would have a bump by now.
