    Default Doubled in size!

Well, my little guy is not so little anymore! I weighed Aidan tonight and was surprised to see that he weighs just over 11lbs. He was 5 pounds and 6 ounces at birth, so he has already doubled his birth weight. I am re leaved that he is growing so well, since no one had any idea why he was born so small!! In the back of my mind I was wondering if he would struggle to gain weight, so I can definitely put that thought to rest.

Yay for Aidan growing so well! Annabelle was like that - came out 5th percentile for length and 40th for weight, and climbed her way up to being 75th for both at 6 months and has stayed there.

Wow, good job Aidan! Nice growth! It's so nice not to worry about weight gain. I had a lot of trouble with it with DD, but DS doesn't seem to have any issues (yet)

YAY Aidan.........I had the opposite problem with DS#4 Cole, he was HUGE at birth and stayed above the 75% for the first yr.....now at 4 he is below the 25th%.

In the end, I do believe that is MOST cases, they just grow how they need to grow, but I do feel better about a nice chubby baby in the beginning. It gives me more peace of mind that if they get sick it won't hurt them to lose a pound or two.

This is how I'm feeling right now as Alli managed to catch Cole's cough. While she is still eating it's not her usual 6-7 oz. More like 5ish at a time.

"They" say babies double their weight around 6 months. So it looks like you have an over achiever! Good job Aiden!
