dtd discomfort

Anyone else finding discomfort while, or after dtd? This baby moves non-stop from 7-2am and something about her moving makes it just feel very strange. And of course the braxton hicks is causes are usually pretty strong.

I'd say, at least for me, it's the swelling more than the baby that makes DTD feel strange. We're actually not dtd much now as I'm afraid it'll put me into labor and I'm not QUITE ready yet! (If I can make it to October 1, my maternity leave will fall properly).

I agree, the swelling certainly doesn't feel good!

I often have more discomfort after than during!

We have only DTD once in the last 6 months! The only reason I would consider it now is to put me into labor which with my luck wouldnt even happen so it isnt likely. Everything about it is just uncomfortable right now, especially the positioning. DH has a big belly of his own so we dont um, fit together the way we usually do IYKWIM?

I don't even want to think about it! Between swelling and a very painful pelvis, I shudder even trying to get up enough enthuasism ... fortunately I have a VERY understanding dh.

I think about sex ALOT but when it comes down to doing it, it takes too much effort. We can never get the positioning right and when we do Im more focused on the pain I'm going to have afterwards. I *think* we might dtd one more time to possibly jumpstart labor.

With my first 2 we always dtd, I knew it would help speed things up and we were pretty newly married, especially with DS. But I was MUCH more comfortable, this time it hurts! I rarely turn DH down, but he doesn't proposition me often because he knows how uncomfortable I am with this one. On my back I can't open my legs because of the SPD and I can't *TMI* get on my hands and knees, because if I shift my weight wrong the sciatic nerve in my right hip causes some pretty wicked blinding pain :(. It made me scream once and it woke my kids up . Then of course there's the swelling and discomfort afterward! So yeah our bedroom has been pretty boring lately....

*lurker*

I get crampy and sore on the lower part of my stomach right after DTD, but not during at all, unless I'm on top. For some reason that's gotten really uncomfortable and makes my stomach hurt a lot...

What's dtd? ROFL

I've had so many complications this pg it hasn't been our top priority unfortunately. I'm so uncomfortable now that I wouldn't even consider it. I try to "take care" of DH but I really haven't even been able to do that over the last 3 weeks.

We try a couple times a week... After the 4th degree tears my last delivery caused, we had to re-invent some positions, which luckily are perfect while HUGE! My dh doesn't seem to be as understanding as all yours, its difficult. I am usually not at all sexual, but while pg I'm much more "in the mood" so dh gets spoiled. The next days pain has me rethink it for sure. Ouch.
