We move two weeks today, so I can't nest or do anything to get ready until then. I am excited to get the room ready though. But I doubt it will be anytime soon as I have the rest of the house to decorate, unpack and sort out first lol

Haven't really started yet. I feel like I have sooo much to do, and no time to do it in. Oh well, I have 3 weeks of vacation coming up really soon.

Yes, yes, yes! The nesting is vastly aided by me being home for summer (I'm a full time teacher).

Things I've done:
-Sorted and boxed DD's clothes
-Pulled out stuff DS can reuse
-Cleaned and organized both the bedroom and the hall closets
-Attempted to organize DS's closet (there's still some of DD's stuff to get out first)
-Cleaned the freezer
-Organized DD's toys
-Had several people out to do various estimates on our house
-Gotten DD into a big girl bed (twin) including making my own bunkie board

I'm still working on things, too. My next several projects involve a bit of sewing. I want to have DD and DS's Halloween costumes ready before DS is born. I also need to work on purging stuff from our basement that we do NOT need. That's the one I'm really not looking forward to!

Wow!!!!! Well that makes me feel SUPER far behind! lol. Good for you!
I've only started to go through clothes! Mostly I just don't know where to start because I don't know if we're putting DD in the same room as DS for a bit, or if we should move downstairs and have the kids each have their same room upstairs.

Yes but it's just cleaning here. I'm doing a lot of internet shopping tho lol I've already got Owen's bedroom furniture picked out and I'm working on decor for his room. Also, getting DD's new big girl furniture picked out and her room decor done too Biggrin I'll start ordering stuff in late August probably.

I've nested some, but not as much as I want to because our upstairs is a wreck right now and it's all heavy stuff I can't move so it's all on DH's time now. Grrrr! We painted the nursery a while back, but this past weekend, we put the changing table together and I washed and folded all of the clothes we have so far. We are about to install wood floors downstairs so I think after they are installed, I will really start nesting!

My mind wants to "nest" but my body won't keep up. I've started cleaning & organizing some though... but I have so much to do yet. My house is a wreck since I've had so many issues with this pregnancy. I'm behind on everything... but I will get it caught up somehow. Smile

I think I have been nesting throughout. When I found out this baby was a boy, I got out all my DS's baby gear and went through his clothes and brought it all downstairs and set it all up. I have been going through stuff and throwing lots of stuff away. I dont really have much to do but I probably will cook a few meals and get birth announcements ready. I have been bugging DF to put in a hot water faucet for heating baby bottles, but I might have to nudge him alittle more now.
Usually right before I go into labor I start doing the deep cleaning stuff like washing the walls and scrubbing floors.

Not really, BUT there just isn't anything to do this time around to get ready. When baby comes, life will simply go on as usual. Smile

I'm following flylady.net s program. I've thrown out 75 bags of clutter (about 60 went to charity) that is just from the twoaon floors. We are emptying the basement for renovations and between that and a second pass through the other rooms I hope to get rid of as much. I have never felt better than when I sit down at night and see my almost clutter free house.

I did fly lady for quite a while, I totally agree it felt good having things so organized and clutter free! Even though I don't do the program anymore I am much more organized and keep house better than before I started. But I couldn't keep up with all the emails anymore lol!

I haven't been doing too much as far as nesting yet. I keep going back and forth between feeling like I have everything under control and I don't have much to do and feeling like I have so much to do I'm never going to feel ready. Both my kids clothes are sorted and I have to donate DD's stuff. I have to move the crib in our room and buy a carseat and mattress. That's about it! I like doing a deep cleaning before baby gets here, but if I start on that now I'll just have to start over again right before baby comes lol.
