What kind of birth are you planning/wanting? (Completely natural, Epidural & no other meds, Csect, Waterbirth, etc)

I'm a repeat Csect. Wink

The first time... I really wanted a completely natural birth & ended up opting for an epidural after 12+ hours of labor... I eventually ended up with a Csect. It was fine... I just wanted my princess at that point.

Hoping for completely natural using HypnoBirthing. Epidural isn't completely out the window, but I would prefer to stay away from it.

If I get my wish of a second homebirth it will be au natural as all you can have at home is gas and air. Really hoping this one is not quite as quick as my last and I can use my birthing pool. Last time it was blown up leaning against the wall when I delivered lol

I will hopefully have an epidural, but no other medications. We'll see if I make it to the hospital in time to get one Smile

Hoping for edpidural only with no other meds and no pitocin. And no oxygen mask either. That was annoying and I don't think it was necessary.
Do not want and episiotomy this time either.

Ditto! I think the oxygen mask they made me wear last time contributed to the nausea I had. That smell of plastic just got to me. Yuck!!

I am planning on waiting as long as I can for an epideral. I am guessing my labour will go pretty fast and I may not get one in time so I am planning on doing breathing and using the birth ball to help me through contractions. I haven't had time to plan hypnobirthing, but I may use some techniques to help!

100% all natural! I to use the laboring tub and walk as much as possible. They have limitations on the tub time, so I plan on hanging out in the shower too Wink

I'm sooooo excited!!!!!

Pretty 'normal' I guess. I'm willing to induce with cervidil if I'm past due. I'd prefer no pitocin. I do NOT want any narcotic pain meds in the early stages of labor. I want an epidural as soon as I feel I need one, up to that point I want to be able to get up and move around and do whatever makes me most comfortable. And no episiotomy.

The anesthesiologist is my friend!

I definitely want to get an epidural but I don't want to get it too soon. I'm going to try to make it to 5 cms. Wish me luck!

This sounds like me.....only I dont have a problem with Pitocin. I've had it twice before and it was fine.

All Natural at a birth center. I'm excited. This will hopefully be my 3rd Natural birth, but this is my first time at a birth center. The others were at a hospital.

I'm being induced with an epidural right away. I'm lethally allergic yo general anesthetic so I have to be ready for a csection right away. I imagine this also means picotin. Not my first choice but the safe choice.

I want a completely natural VBA2C! I wanted to do a home birth or even at a birth center, but it's so expensive and our ins covers a birth at their hospital 100%.
