What are you BTDT Mom's getting your older LO's for a gift from the new baby? (If anything?). For first time Mom's what gift would you get your older LO?
I would really like to find something awsome but I'm at a loss. Any and all suggestions welcome.
Dd loves stuffies. I took her out this last week, and let her pick out her own, this one http://shop.gund.com/products/produc...22.214.171.124?pp=12&. Of course, then I had to get her another ugly doll to distract her from the bear.

I have a DD so I'm not sure how much help I will be. I have DD a small rolling princess backpack that I'm going to put new busy items in... Books, coloring book with new crayons, puzzle sets. My mom has her a new doll. I went for more practical than sentimental. She will be bored at the hospital so lots to play with sounded good to me.
We bought DS1 the "Cars" DVD when DD was born. He was 3 yrs old.
We haven't bought big sibling gifts since then, but I like Anita's idea of a busy gift...

We haven't gotten anything...I like the above idea of a movie though.
I think I'll buy them the tinkerbell movies (which accidentally got erased off my DVD) for them. I don't need any more toys, stuffed animals, babies...any of that.
I'll be the odd one out here....
I'm not going to get DD anything. Maybe I'm 'tough' but I figure she won't always get something when her little brother does so why start the 'tradition' now, ya know? I don't see anything necessarily 'wrong' with it (like I didn't like the idea of the 'push present' a while back... i don't feel like that about a present for an older sibling) but it's just not something I think we're going to do.
I'm actually doing the opposite. I'm going to let my mom take Abby to the store to pick out a stuffed animal or blankie to give to Kessler when she sees him. I'll probably fill her backpack with busy items as well, but they may not all be new items. Just practical things that she'll enjoy.
