Help!!!

Help!!! I'm having contractions every eight minutes or so and they are getting closer together. My question is, even if they get to five minutes a part if they don't "hurt" do I still go in? Right now they are at about a two out of ten on the pain scale. More of a nuissance than anything else.

Uoh I'm fifteen minutes from the hospital so that's not an issue.

yes, I don't feel contractions until they are 2 minutes apart and they don't hurt until they are the "OMG we are having a baby NOW!" kind. So I would go in.

I'd go in also......mine weren't painful either until after they started pitocin.......about an hour and a half before she was born.

After being one of those women where things suddenly went fast I'd be going in. It all really depends on whether you are wanting things natural or with pain killers. If you want the pain killers I'd be heading in! Goodluck! :):)

I'd also go in ... mine weren't intense until I hit transition. I'd rather hear "you're not quite there" than risk an unitentional home birth.

I was there for six hours. Baby's heart rate was skyrocketing so I had an iv and it dropped down to normal again. I'm still contracting every three to five minutes but she said not to come back until my water broke or they got intense enough to have to pant. So I'm at home in bed trying to sleep. They are just enough to make that impossible but at least I'm resting!

Thanks for All the advice and encouragement.

Nothing yet!

My doctor phoned last night and my induction is scheduled for Monday at 7:30. She doesn't think I'll last until then but I do! The last thing she said is see you on Saturday! We'll see...
