    Talking I passed.....

the one hour blood sugar test! YAAAY!

My platelet count is low tho, so I have to go back next week and get more blood drawn. Dr L said I had the same problem with my first pregnancy, but I didn't remember it. Obviously it didn't cause any problems last time so hopefully it won't this time either.

He measured me but he didn't say anything about the measurement and I didn't ask (I'm choosing to be blissfully unaware of how things are 'going' down there... not asking about measurements and not getting checked for dilation those last few weeks). I'm assuming everything was good or he'd have said something and that's good enough for me. He did have to measure waaaaay over on my right side for the top of my uterus and he said I'm carrying SUPER low. Not sure if that makes a difference in anything or not. Again, didn't ask, assuming he'd tell me if it was bad lol

Go back middle of July for my last monthly appointment and then we start going every two weeks

Trying to decide whether to do the optional 3D/4D ultrasound at 28-32 weeks. It's $200. Didn't do it with DD because they didn't offer it back then. Normally I wouldn't do it this go around but I think DD would enjoy it, so we will see....

YAY for a good appointment. I had my Glucose test yesterday but they automatically make you do the three hour one here with fasting YUCK. Will hear today if it is bad news, won't hear if it is good.

Did you get moved and settled in all ok?

Congratulations on passing! Mine isn't until 28 weeks. Last time I failed the 1 hour but passed the 3 hour. I am afraid it'll happen again!

Congrats on getting over that hurdle. I know there's reasoning behind it all, but since there were no problems with DD pregnancy, I really don't want to deal with the gluclose test. I probably will anyway.

Congrats on passing! Hopefully the platelet issue turns out to be nothing again.

my office doesn't do the 1 hour, then 3 hour. They do a 2 hour test. She told me, "you get one chance.. don't fail! You can't retake it". I check fasting sugars a couple times a month and everything looks fine. Has anyone heard of just taking a 2 hour test?

Isn't it funny how we are all treated differently? I was told I can't do the glucouse tolerance test until 28 weeks (same with all my pregnancies). I'm glad to hear yours went well and you had a good appointment!
