Lily Padz?

Anyone use this product before or currently? I just feel so gross all the time. My milk is all over the place even if I put fresh ones in before breastfeeding and shove burp cloths around me. I know it will get better, but I remember this being an issue with DD as well. I hate how bulky the breast pads are and with my bigger boobs, I now fill out a "C" cup  and there's not much room left for a bulky pad. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this product.

I've used them but I waited til my supply was established & I wasnt pouring out everywhere. If I remember correctly, if the get too much liquid in between you & the product the suction is lost & then you've got problems. Plus they don't breathe very well...I probably won't use mine until 3-4 months.

I use them only at home. I don't want my nipples to be without air too much so I used them at night only when I was leaking furiously. I would unstuck them when milk started collecting and wipe them off, then stick them back.

I like them a lot, but I don't use them away from the house.

Is it normal to not have a leaking issue??? I bought tons of boxes of breast pads and have not had to use one single one. The only time I leaked is the one and only time Sophia slept for 6 hours and one of my boobs started leaking. I haven't felt engorged either. Makes me wonder about my milk supply. All my friends keep talking about when they were engorged and leaking and I feel left out that I don't have this issue. LOL!

I have boxes of pads but rarely use them either. I just put them on in case I go out in public... if baby sleeps too long I will get a small wet circle on my shirt (but this has happened only a couple times in the last couple years). It makes me wonder about supply too but I know I make enough milk - I do get very painful letdowns... so painful sometimes they make my toes curl!! I'm always confused as to why breast size has nothing to do with supply... I'd kill to be a C36 again like I was in college. I'm now a DD42 and I can't pump a drop and don't have issues with leakage... why do we need big saggy boobs that are uncomfortable and just in the way and don't even produce more milk??

I don't leak very much either and I'm never super engorged like I was with DS, it must have something to do with mutiple pregnancies, I think the body just makes enough for your LO and no more, Plus if you pump, your less likely to leak. When I do leak I just take a burp cloth or his blanket on the non feeding breast and hold it there.

Oh and lily padz are wonderful!!! I wear them when I go out and when I dont want to wear a bra, they hide the hard nips!

I don't remember ever leaking with my oldest, I know I didn't have any pads except the free samples. But I leak with this one. Even weirder is my supply was way overactive with my first but isnt as bad this time. I think breasts are just different each time.

They had some at Target today and I grabbed them. I leak so badly during feedings from the opposite boob that I go through at least an entire box of pads a week. At $8.00/box I figure the $20.00 Lily padz aren't that expensive. So far I love them. I've done one feeding and it was SO NICE not to be drenched in breast milk. I'll probably use the regular pads too some since I think my nipples should "breate" a little, but this is fabulous so far! And I don't feel like my breast milk is being waisted.

Oh, you should look at the Milkies Milk Saver if you leak a lot during feeding. It would allow you to collect that milk, so save a pumping session lol!

I considered getting them, but by the time I had heard of them I had stopped leaking during feedings. I found some at a consignment sale last week and just passed on the good deal because I really don't need that anymore.

Thanks!!! that looks cool and I was just trying to figure out how to try to save the milk. Even with the lily padz on at the last feeding, I still leaked some in it, so I just had a towel ready when I peeled it off, but seriously there was at least an oz and maybe two that came spilling out. I mean when I say I leak, I SERIOUSLY LEAK! Ugh, I always feel slight damp like I'm sweaty or something. The lily padz help a little though. At least it doesn't go everwhere with them.

ETA: this morning i got nearly 2 oz from the opposite side he was feedimg on just by keeping the bottom of a small bottle over that nipple. I don't think i need to worry about supply and def need to try and save that rather than letting my clothes soak it up!

Don't worry about leaking or not leaking. I've had varying amounts of leaking with each of my babies. With my first and second I leaked just a bit in the beginning. With my 3rd I leaked a TON for months. With my 4th I leaked for a few months. Now with Aidan I have only leaked just a bit a couple of times. BUT he is gaining well. He is over a pound above his birth weight at 3 weeks old. He has tons of wet and poopy diapers, and is content and happy inbetween feedings. Look more at baby's weight and diapers then anything else.
