I keep hearing how wonderful they are. I've never seen one up close and I'm not sure if I have a store near me that sells them... or are they online only?
I am NOT a minimalist so I need something that will haul ALL my stuff organized. Pretty doesn't hurt either.
When DS is born, I will have 2 in cloth diapers(CD). CDs take up a bit more room but I leave my extras in the car in between errands.
*** So, does anyone have one? Which one? Do you want one? Why or Why Not?
I would appreciate any advice. I know they aren't cheap so I don't want to impulse buy. Plus, I do like to research.
I have a Ju Ju Be Tween http://www.shopjujube.com/Product.as...000&p=JJB01270
I bought it 2+ years ago for $89 (it was selling online for $120 at the time). I did my research before buying it, but it wasn't enough research. I looked at it as an investment in "luggage". It's more bulky than I'd like for what it holds. It can hold a LOT of sposies, but not much room for spare clothes as your LO gets bigger.
I like the fact that you could just toss it in the washing machine (though I don't think I've actually done that yet). I just wipe it clean with baby wipes usually. We did have one sticky drink spill on it in the car and while I was easily able to clean the bag, the zipper now sticks in that one spot. I might actually toss it in the laundry and see if it fixes that.
All in all, I'd say I've had this diaper bag a LOT longer than any previous diaper bags I've own (usually wal-mart or target and I'd replace them when they get worn), so it's held up pretty good.. but the disappointment in how much it actually held and how bulky it feels to me, I'm not sure I'd buy it again for that price. KWIM?
That being said, I'm not sure I could find another bag to make me happy. Not sure what else is out there and if it could completely please me either.
Hope that helps.

Must be me but I can't stand the high end diaper bags, I find them incredibly ugly (but I also hate purses too!) I throw everything in my bebe coccoli diaper bag or beach totes, I've had kids for the last 12 years so there's no need for a purse when I can just throw my chequebook/wallet in the kids bags!! LOL I think if you are all about warddrobe than you need the fancy diaper bag, otherwise it's just a huge waste of money.
Go to the Jujube website, and click where it says Pink Room. It's a message board like this, but entirely devoted to JJB bags. You will find tons and tons of info, pictures, etc of all the bags, and every print, and the girls there are very helpful! They will gladly help you shop!
Plus they have a FSOT section, where you can buy gently used bags for much cheaper than new retail.
I don't have one, but I wanted to say that they're really cute! I have a coach diaper bag that DH got me as a bday gift a few weeks before DS1 was born. It has held up great but is pretty bulky and heavy for how much it holds. Sounds similar to the review the lurker above gave to the jujube. But it did hold 2 cloth diapers (BGs) easily for the few months I had 2 in diapers .
Sorry that was no help haha!
In my pre-mom life, I was a huge purse & shoes gal. I've retired the heels until toddler-hood is over. I guess what I'm saying... splurging on a diaper bag that I will carry all the time doesn't seem like a splurge to me. I just want it to be worth the $$. I like my things organized. I can save $ in other areas.
I LOVE ju-ju-be. Like love love. IT was funny because on the way home from the beach today I was talking to DH about my love of JJB and then I saw this thread. hahaha.
I didn't get expensive diaper bags until I had JJB. They are AMAZING. The organization can't be beat and they're machine washable which is amazing.
I have a between, which is/was just enough for me when I had an infant and a 2 year old. I'm a REALLY light packer though. Then I asked for an amazon giftcard for my birthday so I could buy a new jjb. I REALLY wanted a BFF, but they were on back order for a month. I am a super light packer and I have a 1 year old and a 3 year old so I talked myself into a behave. Then 2 months later I got a surprise BFP . So there is no way my Behave is going to work with 3 kids. It's a FABULOUS bag though. But when we go out all day I have to carry something else. I do carry it for my quick trip bag. (Grocery store, mall..etc.)
I'm pretty certain I'm going to get a BFF after all. I second going to the pink room message boards, they have a lot of pictures of bags packed, unpacked, worn, and side by side.
A BFF might work for you, but a beprepared would definitely work. It's a lot of diaper bag for me, but I'm a minimalist so that's why. I think those are the two you need to consider though. I really don't think you would regret the purchase though, JJB quality really can't be beat.
I have a Fleurville Bag from my last preg. With my first I had a plain old black cheapy, and was determined to have a nice one next time. I used it a lot loads of room in it and pockets. It still looks brand new excited I get to use it again. I know nothing about JuJuBe just wanted to say how much I love my bag lol
