Officially back

I made it back to Nebraska last night with very few traveling problems. The trip was just a few days too long I think, but we did cram a bunch into those days. Trips to the beach, pool, visiting inlaws, grandparents, acting like a tourist in downtown Savannah (my hometown) and I also did a little work with 3 photoshoots while I was there. I naturally want to start editing this moment, but there are more pressing issues like groceries and paying bills. I've spent a little time this morning trying to catch up on posts and I'll try again this afternoon. I missed keeping up with everyone and I'm VERY happy to be back to normacly. On another note, I got information in the mail for my daughter's pre-k at the school. She's only going 2 days a week but I already have to do "school supply" shopping. Seems so strange that I'm at that point in life.

the one I'm not thrilled about - since I just threw away her "play shoes"...they would probaby be too small - is that they require a pair of sneakers to be kept at school for gym. They say they dont' have to be new, but I'll probably just run to Walmart for them. I just bought a $30 pair of Addidas at the outlets and I'm not about to just leave those at school.

glad you make it back and got to see family! I would love to visit Savannah!!

We always had to do pre-k shopping, its just so expensive and since our children went to private school's, teachers paid out of pocket for much of the supplies, so every little bit we helped with was huge!

If you ever make it to Savannah, my suggestion is to go EARLY spring. Last week in March or 1st week in April. Usually you'll catch the Azaelas blooming and the weather will be enjoyable. With the possibility of even a beach day that early in the spring.
