Went to my 6 week PP checkup today and I have officially been cleared by the doctor. Not that it means anything different since DH said we are not going to DTD until he gets snipped. LOL! I seriously doubt he will hold out that long. ;) Even though it was his decision he told me today that he's scared its going to hurt. I actually had to laugh and said "I gave birth to our daughter with no drugs so don't even tell me that you are scared its going to hurt." Poor guy!!
Yay for a good bill of health! I have a friend that got snipped.. he said it felt like he'd been kicked down there for about a day, then no pain. Not sure if that'd reassure DH or not!

Sounds like a good appt - my dh is more worried about the pain on his first day back to work when we decide we're done - chefs tend to be a bit on the immature side at work.

MY Dh is getting snipped too - dod you know it takes 20-30 ejaculations for the sperm to be cleared from his semen????? I couldnt believe it - that could be a year of sex w condoms for us ...

I also forgot to add that my doctor said now that I'm 30, I only have to have a pap smear every 3 years instead of once a year so I'm like yay! But then she remembered that I had stage 3 precancerous cells on my cervix 5 years ago that had to be froze off after I gave birth to DS so I have to go once a year for the rest of my life. :( Bummer!
I'm glad you're all cleared by your dr now :). My DH is getting the big snip too!
