Can you believe our LO's are going to be 1 month old on Sunday already??? Time is just passing me by so fast. How is Nicholas doing? Sophia still has her days and nights mixed up! She stayed up until 4 AM this morning and I'm also taking care of a sick 5 year old so I am exhausted!! At least I know she is getting plenty to eat! She has grown out of NB diapers already and started wearing some of her 3 month clothes. I am so not used to having a baby gain weight so fast. LOL! DS was a slow gainer and just now caught up to other kids his age.

It's crazy how fast time goes!!! feels like I just had him! I do feel like I used the first month to snuggle and enjoy him like I wanted to, but I am really tired because he is mixed up too. He usually wakes up an hour after I go to bed and is up for a couple hours and then sleeps an hour and is up again for awhile. It's not until early morning he sleeps longer stretches and I dont seem to get out of bed until after 10am. He sleeps all day though, so today I have been keeping him up after each feeding for awhile and seeing if that improves his night time sleep. My DS is sick too and got me sick so it's been really hard. I feel really overwelmed most days.. what about you? It's hard just to get myself dressed and out of the house.

Sounds like Sophia is getting big! Are you still breastfeeding? I love your siggy pic of her! I have no idea what Nicholas weighs but his cheeks are filling out and I think we will be into size 1 diapers by next week. He is justint fitting into his newborn clothes though, but he was little at birth, my DS was the same way and is still behind on the growth chart.

Hope we get some much needed sleep soon!!!!

I do feel so overwhelmed some days....especially at night. I just think about how tired I will be in the morning and having to get DS up and ready for school. I just hope its not like this when I go back to work. I'm sure we'll be on a routine by then. It's nice on the days that DH goes into work later because he helps with DS on those mornings, but it doesn't happen often enough. And there are days where I just stay in my pj's all day!! Smile

I am still breastfeeding. I ended up having to supplement on Friday because she wanted to nurse every 45 minutes, sleep for 15 minutes, and then want to nurse again. I was about to go insane and had to protect my sanity so DH went and bought those little 'already made' bottles and I gave her one. She slept for 6 hours that night!!! I felt guilty about it at first because I wanted to exclusively breastfeed for the first 6 months, but I feel better since it was just that one time and haven't had to do it again.

I wish I knew what she weighs now. I used to have a baby scale, but gave it away. We'll find out next week at her 1 month appt, but I'm sure she weighs at least 9-10 lbs now. DS was always in the 5th percentile in weight so she is definitely not taking after her big brother!!

NAK-I hate to say that i am spoiled and my SO takes care of DS grtting him up and ready for daycare, and I am still overwelmed so i cant even imagine how you feel.
Does your DH help at night? Mine tries but there isn't much he can do. He gives Nicholas a bottle in the evening though, but i am usually getting DS ready for bed. its hard to balance 2 LO's! They say your not really a mother until you have 2...and now i know why! 1 was easy!

Keep up the breastfeeding! Its hard sometimes but in the end worth it!

He doesn't get up with her since I'm breastfeeding, but he does help before we go to bed. He doesn't spoil me so much. LOL! She finally slept better last night and I've noticed that I've been able to pump more milk now so I think my supply is starting to become better established.

It is definitely a lot more challenging having another LO around!! DS is having surgery on Monday and will be home with me all week while recovering. Next week will be really challenging for me!
