And I read that only your 1st baby drops before birth and subsequent babies drop right before birth. Have no clue how true that is since I honestly do not remember DS dropping, but I know for a fact this baby has dropped since it was confirmed by my doctor. Although, my family and friends have been making comments about how I haven't even dropped yet. I'm confused! LOL!

I remember DS dropping because it was like my hips split apart. I could barely walk (so much so that I had to stop working immediately because it was so painful). I know this little one hasn't dropped yet because the Dr. was still up high when he was feeling for positioning. I don't know how long that's going to last with the preterm stuff and her now being head down though. I REALLY hope the subsequent pregnancies dropping just before birth isn't true, or if it is she better not do it for another 2 weeks!

I haven't been able to tell if I dropped either. People tell me I have to, but then other people tell me I'm carrying high. So who knows, but I still get a foot in the ribs which tells me he hasn't dropped yet.

I'm carrying so low anyway that I don't know that there will be much of a difference between now and when he actually drops. I don't remember DD dropping either, I don't think she did until I was in labor.

With my first I never really noticed dropping BUT I was preggo with twins so Kodey (baby A) was really low my entire pregnancy.

Hummmm, interesting! I know that I always drop around 33-34 weeks... because that is when my measurements at the doc's office start to get drastically smaller than what they should be.

I have *yet* to have a rib kick. Hardly any kicks above belly button still. The highest kicks i have noticed are only about 2 fingers above my b.b.

Yeah see I have noticed that kicks/movement isn't quite as high as it used to be but I just thought maybe she had gotten in a different position. Oh well we'll see I go to the OB on the 6th. We'll see if I'm still measuring as far ahead as I have been. And he is starting cervical checks that appt as well...
