So ready for winter!!

This is our weekly forecast. I believe we are on day 24 of consecutive triple digits! Ugh! Worst time to be pregnant!

Yikes!! I'm in NM... about 45 minutes outside of Albuquerque and we are hot, but not HOT!!! Actually, since it's not real humid it has been a pretty nice summer. I am looking forward to the fall... not so much winter though! Smile I'm guessing your winters are very mild then. Do you get snow at all, like just a bit once in a while?

Wowsers! I lived in the south so I know exactly how that must feel...though we never had that many consecutive days at triple digits. Hoping you get some relief soon! I'm ready for Fall weather but agree with Laurie that I'm not quite ready for winter. I'm sure your winters are mild in comparrison, so you can have a good laugh when we're all stuck inside negative temps.

Sounds like a good time to be on bedrest INSIDE! We dont usually even get as hot as your lows are right now. We stay pretty steady between 55 and 65 here. We might have a freeze overnight one or two nights a year and maybe have a couple weeks about 70 if we are lucky. I used to love the heat growing up in Ohio but couldnt take the cold snowy winters. But now I am the opposite, the heat just kills me since I havent been in it for so long. We were in Virginia Beach last year for a week and it was like 105 for 3 days straight and I thought I would DIE!
Stay indoors and stay cool Mama, lotsa ice cream and popsicles!

Our winters are really mild and it doesn't get really really cold until January and February. It may get in the 20's, but that's probably pushing it. Cold to us is 50's and 60's. We may have one day out of the year where there is ice on the roads. Ice on our roads shuts down the city so it's next to impossible to get to work or anywhere else unless you own a helicopter. LOL! Nobody in Houston knows how to drive in icy conditions. It didn't snow last year, but we got snow the year before and even then it only last for a day. Snow is very rare for us so it's a special treat for the kids when it does snow.

Oh my... that is a horrible forecast. We dropped to mainly 80s now... I'm so thankful. We can actually go back outside again. We are really dry though. My yard is completely brown & the leaves are starting to wither & fall. Stay cool!

Lurking

I saw those temps and though - Ah, definitely a neighbor of mine and confirmed it when I saw ABC 13. Isn't this brutal? I haven't doing anything outside in weeks and I haven't allowed DS to either.

LOL! Yep, neighbors! It is very brutal. I can't believe I am very pregnant during one of the hottest summers we have had. Sucks! The rain seemed to cool us off just a little today, but I'm stuck indoors anyways. We need some more rain though...I've been praying for a tropical storm! Smile

I hear ya! I can't wait for winter, it's my favorite time of year. But our winters are very mild too :). It's not quite as hot here as it is where you are but we don't have a working A/C! So it's always about the same to 5 degrees hotter inside than it is outside, which has been between 95 and 100 all week :/.

It actually cooled down around here, but I stay inside anyways. The only thing I am not looking forward to this winter is carrying a baby in the snow. At least you wont have to worry about that!
