So thankful for my doppler!

I just have to say that I am so THANKFUL for my doppler today. I originally bought it just for fun, but it was such a lifesaver this morning when I had my scare. After the initial freak out and all the crying was done, I finally remembered that I had the doppler. I can't even believe I had forgotten about it. I was so relieved to hear the heartbeat and I was able to calm down and not stress about it. I just knew there was a reason that I spent the extra money and got one and I am so happy I did!! So if you haven't thought of a good enough reason to get one, there it is. Smile

That's my PSA for the night! LOL!

so so so relieved you and baby are ok!!!! Thank goodness you had it, just to ease your mind.

There is a ton of great info out there for placenta previa. Im not sure if I had it, they told me my placenta was blocking my cervix or something with my first, and said not to worry that it would move into position in time. is that the same thing or just a tilted uterus? I didnt know enough then to ask alot of quations...

good luck and again, so happy baby is ok!

Yes....that's the same thing. There are 3 different kinds of previa. Complete, partial, and marginal. Thankfully, mine is marginal which means my placents is right on the border of my cervix so she said I should have no problem when it comes time for delivery. They are just going to keep watching it until it gets far enough away from my cervix. I was reading all about it last night. LOL!

It was from the previa. It can cause some bleeding. My doc was explaining to me that some women don't experience bleeding and they just find out from U/S and others find out because they start bleeding. A friend of mine had the same problem in her 1st trimester. She had already had a m/c and thought for sure that was happening again, but it turned out to be previa. I'm still having some bleeding now, but it has tapered off some.

Hey Jac81, can I ask where did you buy your doppler? Is there a website you can link me to?
