Default Spin off of todays qotd

What will you be packing in your hospital bag?

What will you be packing in the baby's hospital bag?

I am so worried I'll forget something important!

I am sooooo a minimalist. Especially having done this so many times.

    my bag:
I'll wear a pair of yoga pants, nursing tank, and either a tshirt or longsleeve shirt depending on the weather. Since I'll be in that outfit all of 20 minutes, that will be the same outfit I wear home.
I'll bring another nursing tank and another pair of yoga pants to wear when I can get up. Probably 2 or 3 pairs of underwear, and two pairs of slipper socks.
    Brush, toothbrush, toothpaste, glasses, contacts.
then we'll bring our camera bag that will have our cameras, laptop, and our chargers including our phone chargers.

Babies bag: gown, coming home outfit, muslin blanket, warmer blanket, socks, a hat or two that I'll crochet, I'll also probably bring some wipes because they had these weird generic tiny wipes when I had my last baby and they sucked. Oh, and a pacifier.

Those of you that have older children going to stay with someone else don't forget to pack bags for them too!

great point! Our hospital doesnt allow your husband/so/bf to stay overnight, so unless im having the baby during the night, he'll be home with the boys.

Also another good point, especially for FTMs. If your hospital DOES allow DH to stay, pack for him. With my first my DH didn't leave the hospital(didn't even leave the room) for way over 24 hours (probably more like 48 ). We packed him some extra shirts, some comfy pants, some extra socks, a blanket/pillow, and some snacks and drinks.

I went in for induction at 3pm on Monday and had a c-section around 2 the next day. Then of course he had to stay and help me take care of the baby. I don't think he left until around dinner time the next day. My parents were there and so was his mom, but I didn't want him to leave me alone at that point.

I'm pretty much a minimalist. The big things I don't want to forget are lotion for massaging out my hips during labour, the camera, and swaddling blankets for the lo. Anything else I can make dh go pick up after she's here.

    I will bring...

    robe
    slippers
    my pump
    nursing tank/bras
underwear (which I might not wear because it hits right at the scar)
    maybe a nightgown or 2
tooth brush/paste, shampoo/cond, hair brush, hair ties lotion
    Pillow for DH
    camera and chargers for phone/camera

For DS I didn't bring much, my hospital supplied me with so much!
    going home outfit
    a blanket
    couple burp cloths

And also someone mentioned a giving DS a present from the new LO so I will bring that as well!

I was hoping we'd do this! Thanks for the good ideas!

For those BTDT moms - was there anything that you didn't have last time that you want to make sure you don't forget this time?
