Don't know if anyone remembers, but back in the early part of my pregnancy I was having a lot of issues with bm's and stomach pains. This majority of that has gone away, but I still get killer stomach aches now and again. Do you think it's possible that this is why I am not gaining weight? I'm just wondering if im not absorbing nutrients and fat properly? I just jumped on the scale and im down a pound, yet I have been eating lots!
I know the baby is growing, as well as this large belly of mine, but maybe its being taken away from me?

I would talk to your doctor or midwife about the stomach pains if they get really bad, but as for the weight gain...I wouldn't worry about it! As long as your ultrasound shows the baby is gaining & growing...I have been the exact same weight for the last 3 months and I am actually down 8 lbs since I became pregnant!
Ditto above. As long as you're waiting healthy & not going hungry babe with get what it needs from you. I only gained 9 lbs with DS yet he was perfectly healthy & weighed 7lb 7oz. I also found that I was eating significantly smaller meals more frequently due to lack of space in my abdomen. That probably kicked my metabolism into gear.
But the stomach pains definitely talk to your care provider about. Yikes! That awful. Hope you get some relief.
I suffer from horrible constipation, especially during pregnancy, is that your problem? Mine can be terribly painful! Have you asked your doc about the weight gain, or lack of?

ditto to asking your Dr.....I had some stomach issues early on, but I narrowed it down to milk. It seems as though I've become somewhat lactose intolerant during this pregnancy.
Hope you get it all figured out!
Ditto to asking your Dr. about the pain. I've finally started gaining weight this pregnancy, still not up to pre-pregnancy weight, despite eating a ton.

Could the stomach pain be gall bladder related? I know that's common with pregnancy.
