Stretch marks

I find it quite amazing that I had no stretch marks until week 36, now my poor belly is covered in dark red/purple stripes. The really crazy thing is I quit growing at 36 weeks!!

So, what do you guys recommend? I'm trying Bio-oil which is basically a Vit E oil. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

time. there's not really anything you can do about them and the only way to 'get rid of them' is time. they'll never completely go away but they do usually fade quite a bit.

Time is the best, I have heard that you can do laser therapy on any that still bother you, but I probably wouldn't spend the money on that until you are done having kids and are at a good weight.

I only have two on my belly from the pregnancy. I only had one on each breast before the baby was born, too. But, just in the last couple of weeks (baby was 4-6 weeks old) I have picked up a bunch more on my breasts from my milk! I have just been putting lotion on everything, but I am hearing the same as PP have said - it just takes time for them to lighten up.

This! My tummy is covered in them since my first baby. I tried every lotion and potion they make to try and prevent and then get rid of them but nothing worked. They definitely fade though and are barely visible after your tummy gets back down to normal.
